Jin could hear yelling all the way across the room.
"I've had enough of you and your stupid lies!!!" You shouted.
You went to go run a few errands at the supermarket that was a few blocks down from where you lived. You decided to get some roses for your boyfriend since your 1 year anniversary was around the corner. You felt giddy and joy all over your body. He was a guy that indeed make you happy. Although Jin never liked him, he know that seeing your happy with your boyfriend is what mattered. But Jin could feel his blood boil in rage as he heard excuses come out of your cowardly boyfriend.
"She was just a friend Y/N," said your boyfriend.
You raised both eyebrows and let out a hysterical laugh. You couldn't believe what you were being told.
"Oh, and friends kiss oh so intimately??" You growled.
"Can you please give me another chance Y/N! I promise to be faithful!"
"And our one year anniversary is coming up too! Way to be an asshole!!!"
You threw the roses on the floor and stormed out towards the hallway. Your soon to be ex grabbed your wrist in attempts to win you back but instead he earn a stinging pain to the face and a swollen lip. He looked up to see you vanish into the small space of your room where you curled up in fetal position and silently sobbed.
Jin dashed towards your ex and grabbed the cheater by his shirt collar.
"Consider yourself lucky that I'm not kicking your ass right now." said Jin with rage.
"All she did was give you her heart. And you replay her like this?? But know that if I see you near her again. You will regret the day you came into this world."
Your ex fell to the floor and made a run for the exit, realizing how much of a big mistake he made.
I hope Y/N is doing ok.. Jin thought.
Jin cracked a bit of your door to see you curled up next to your bed. Your eyes red and puffy from all the crying, Jin saw your cheeks were pink and soaked with tears. He couldn't stand seeing you upset. Not like this.
The only tears she should be crying is of joy. Jin thought.
He knelt right to you and he squeezed your hand gently.
"I'm really sorry this happen, Y/N" said Jin.
"You truly deserved someone better than that no good dirt bag,"
That didn't stop you from crying. Jin bit the inside of his cheek. Every tear that rolled down your face caused Jin to internally agonize. He remembers the days of witnessing the joy you once had with your ex. The cuddly moments and the late night movie marathons she always spoke to Jin about. Jin imagined it was him doing all those things with you. Late night kisses under the stars, serenating you for your birthday, spoiling you with candy and food. Jin imagined being the one to take your pain away.
"Y/N, I need you to listen to me closely." said Jin kindly.
Jin lifted your chin up with his finger and swept your tears away with his thumb. He took a good look at you before speaking again.
"What he did was unbearable and I understand that you're in a lot of pain. But you need to be strong and move on." said Jin.
"It really wish that you find love once more and I hope that person can bring you more joy than your dumb idiot of an ex could have never done for you,"
You blinked rapidly to prevent further tears from blinding your eyes. You wiped away the wetness from your cheeks and you sat upright.
"It may be easy to move on...But falling back in love will be the hardest part," You said.
"It don't think anyone can love me as much as my ex did. I gave him my heart in hopes of having a good life with him. But all I get is deception and betrayal in return."
Jin held your hands close to his face and he let out a soft breath.
"I can help you get rid of the pain he gave you. I can be the one that helps you truly discover what love REALLY feels like. I'll do the impossible just to see you happy again Y/N." said Jin.
"Just as long as you're by my side..I won't need anything else. All I want is to see you happy Y/N. I want to be the bubbly girl I still know."
Your heart fluttered at Jin's words. But your mind turned defensive and closed off any attraction you may have been feeling for him.
"Jin..this is too much for me to take in. I mean, I don't know.." You sighed.
Jin's lips lightly touched your fingertips.
"I would wait an entire century just for you Y/N," said Jin.
He pulled both of your hands away and leaned towards you with a soft kiss. You back up against the side of your mattress and tensed up against the warmth of Jin's lips. You knew that every word that Jin had told you was sincere and honest. Since day 1 of being with you, he has always done nothing but bring you happiness. Your heart may have been crumbling down to dust but Jin swore that he would hug you so right that the broken pieces would stick together again.
Your muscles began to relax as you completely melted in Jin's arms. His finger gently swept away the hair that clung onto your face. A small smile formed on your lips as you looked down at the ground.
"You may need to give me some time so I can properly heal from this situation." You muttered.
Jin gave you small pecks on your lips and cheeks causing you to giggle and squirm.
"Anything for you..자기야,"
