Cheat, Lies and Deceit

Chapter 9

Jordan

"Hey man, I gotta go!" I told my coworker Kevin as I gripped tighter to my luggage. "What's going on man?" Kevin asked in a groggy voice. I knew he was sleep considering it was almost three in the morning. "Man, just cancel the meeting and I'll call you when I'm ready to schedule another date." I didn't give him a chance to respond before I bolted down the hall and into an opening elevator. On the way down all I could picture was me beating Adrian senseless. I was so caught up in my thoughts until the bell of the elevator opening snapped me out of it and I rushed out to the valet. Once I walked out, I saw my driver standing and waiting on me. "Just get in and get me to the airport as soon as possible." I said with a sense of urgency as I tossed my bag into the seat and climbed in.

We made it to the airport in no less than twenty minutes. I took the first plane out. As soon as the plane landed, I was soon on my way to my house to bust some ass. I don't care if it was now seven in the morning, Tavi might not be home by then and I'm sure she'll understand. I pulled up in the yard and noticed that Liv's car was the only one there which doesn't mean Adrian punk ass wasn't there. Especially since she's not expecting me home so soon. I used my key to slowly and quietly open the front door. Nothing looked out of place so I crept up the stairs. As I passed Tavi's room, I noticed that she was still gone. I continued on to our bedroom go see Liv laying in the bed in a robe. I don't know if she is sleeping or what but I crept on to the guest room. All of the rooms were empty so I walked back into the bedroom and slammed my keys down causing Liv to jump up. "Dammit Jordan you scared me!" She said sliding off the bed while holding her chest. "Oh is that so?" I asked with a smirk on my face but never moving from that spot. "I've had a long night that's all. But why are you back so soon?" Judging by the look on her face, she knows why I'm here so early. "Don't fucking play with me girl!" I went off. I couldn't hold it in anymore. "You know exactly why I'm here so to save me from tearing shit up in here, you better get to talking and hope like hell you saying some shit I wanna hear!" I yelled causing her to jump with every tone change my voice did. 

 "Baby-" I cut her off before she could even start. "Don't you dare call me that shit anymore. You've lost all right." I yelled. "Well then if I've already lost rights, then what am I sitting here pleading my case for. All I can say is, I fucked up. I never meant for it to get this far.." She said in a shaky voice. All of that sound all good but there was one thing I needed to hear her say. "So what your saying is you and that son of a bitch cheated on Kera and I?" Right once the words left my mouth, her eyes dropped and I knew it was true. But she still needed to say it. "ANSWER ME!" I yelled causing my voice to echo throughout the spacious house. "YES! And I'm sorry Jordan! I tried to....." She tried to add on but at that point I was done. "All I can tell you is, have your shit out of my house when I get back." And with that, I walked out the room, and down to my car. Now I have one more stop to make. This punk ass bitch gone hear from me.

Adrian

I went back home and just sat and thought. Despite what everyone  might think, I do feel bad about ruining Liv's life and marriage. But at the same time I love her and I can see that she love me. She just didn't have the guts to follow her heart so I had to help her. I managed to swap myself out my thoughts and decided to take a shower. I went into the bathroom and started my shower up. While I waited for it to steam all the way up, I put together me an outfit and packed a suit case. Finally I went and allowed the steam to relieve me of all my stress. 

I felt really good getting out of the shower, like a brand new person. I got dressed and grabbed my suit case making sure I wasn't leaving anything behind. As soon as I made it downstairs, someone was ringing the doorbell. "Damn." Was all I could say due to me not wanting to be bothered with anyone. Plus I'm trying to get the hell out of here. I went to open the door and as soon as I did, POW!
