Chapter 33

THREE MONTHS LATER.....

"Hello? HELLLOOO?" I yelled into the phone for the hundredth time today. Someone keeps calling and playing on the phone. Asia and I are at the house alone waiting for everyone to come over. It was time for us to have one of our sleep overs again. I gave Asia a bath and sat her down with some of her toys in front of PJ Masks. It's something about that cartoon that she just loves, but I don't complain, anything to keep her out of stuff. I gathered all of the snacks and stuff that I grabbed from the store earlier. Just as I was about to sit down and relax with Asia, the door bell rang. I went and looked to see Kim standing there holding her huge belly. "Damn bitch, you carrying twins or what?" I teased as she waddled through the door. "Fuck you okay, don't think I won't bust out crying in here. My emotions been all over the place lately. Hey cutie patootie." She said sitting down on the couch next to Asia putting her on her lap. "She finally calling me sissy now." I said excitedly. "I need to start coming around our sister more." Kim said as she kissed all over her little red face. Sometimes I forget that Kim and I share a mother and father. "AJ big head ass says he'll be by here later. He was stopping by the trap to chop it up with Marcus and Q about something." Kim informed me. AJ is still doing basketball but since Kera been tripping, he been working with Marcus and Q to keep money in his pocket and pay for shit he needs. They just keep him under wraps so he won't jeopardize his scholarship. We all have begged him to just let us provide the money to him but he just won't. I guess it's a pride thing.

"So what's been up around here lately? Have you heard anything from your mom?" Kim asked while rubbing her fingers through Asia's curly hair as she began to fall asleep. "Nope, I would be lying if I said I wasn't worried about her but daddy said he set her up somewhere safe. Hopefully she went." I said as I sipped on my cup of tea. "What about you?" I asked her. "I asked AJ because I absolutely refuse to apologize when I didn't do anything wrong. And instead of going over and end up disrespecting her I just stay away." Kim said. "But he said that she won't even talk to him. It's like she hates us now and I really don't know what made her flip like that. I wonder if it was the fact that I am now pregnant and maybe she thinks that we're moving on with our lives and will forget all about her." I rubbed my chin as I let what Kim said sink in. I never thought about it that way but now that she mentioned it, she did have a point. "I don't know, but that is something to think about." I said just as someone else was ringing the doorbell. I got up and answered it to see it was Brit, Moe and Talia. "Ya'll always come together. Must be a damn tradition or something." I said closing the door behind them as they walked away chuckling. "Girl, we might as well hang tight seeming that none of us are with our men anymore." Talia said rolling her eyes. "What happened?" I asked as I poured them some wine and me and Kim some more tea.

"They got mad because we are now apart of the business. I don't even know why they're tripping when all we do is run hits on people." Talia said shrugging her shoulders like it's nothing. "Bitch I asked Marcus ass to put me on with the game and he laughed his ass off and then death glared me like I was bullshitting. School is just not for me but since he won't let me in then I guess I'm gonna have to go and make the best out of it." I said getting annoyed by the thought of it. "Good, I'm actually agreeing with Marcus this time Tav, you don't need to be involved in that mess. It's just dangerous and Lord knows I already worry about them being involved. The last thing I need is to have to be worried about you too." Kim added. "I guess." I said dismissing the subject.

We sat around and talked for a little while longer before the guys barged into the room making all of us look at them like they're crazy. "The fuck is wrong with ya'll?" I asked in irritation. "Go get the baby and meet me us around the back of the house. That nigga Adrian back in town and making himself known, I'll tell you more about it once we all safe away from here." Marcus said in a hurry. I ran upstairs and grabbed Asia and her bag. I always kept her one packed just in case we had to go somewhere last minute or something. I hurried out the back door and hopped in the unmarked van with everyone else. "See what I'm saying. I'm pregnant about to pop and shit and we gotta go through this shit." Kim said as she looked out of the window. "Look ma, don't start that shit. You don't think we just as frustrated as you. Come to find out, he owns a big ass cartel and he plans on taking our spot. It's about to get real around here and I need to get ya'll somewhere safe." Q said as Marcus hit every back street and corner there was. "So who all in danger here?" Talia asked with her arms folded across her chest. "EVERY DAMN BODY GIRL!" Jamar yelled. "I'll shoot you in the dick, don't yell at me nigga." She said with a calm emotionless face. "Aye watch ya'll language around Asia." Marcus said before I could say anything. He has really become attached to her. But situations like this is why I don't want to have my own kids right now. Even though Marcus got out of the game, he was drug right back into it because of the unresolved shit that keeps resurfacing.

Marco/Marcus

We made it to the safe house that we have on the outskirts of town. "Aight, here are the rules. Don't call nobody, don't text nobody, no technology at all. I have shit loads of security out here if ya'll need anything and I will call one of them if I need to contact ya'll. We gone go get everyone else and bring them here until we get this shit resolved. As far as I know, this nigga never liked anyone and he's out for heads." I explained being straight up with them. I feel like the more they know about this shit and how dangerous this situation is, they'll be too scared to slip up and try some slick shit. "Here Tavi, hold this and make sure everything stay good." I handed her one of my guns. "I got you. Be safe and come back to us." She said holding Asia close to her while she slept. "I will." I said placing a light kiss on her lips and left out with Q, Jamar, Nate, and Kendrick following behind me.

"You think he out for your moms too? Cause if so she need to be here too." Jamar said but I quickly shook my head. My mom is safe, he never knew about her and she is gated in with maximum security cause of that dick head Frank and his son that I still have no clue about." I said getting pissed all over again. "I'm not moving our family until both of those dickheads are dead." I said as I pulled up to one of our traps. We all hopped out of the vehicle and went into my office. "There's not much of a plan. All I can say right now is anybody that step to you on some bullshit or if you cross anybody that work for those fuckers, take them out immediately. We have some cops on our pay roll and they haven't had to do much recently but now is the time we about to use them up and put them to work. Ain't no easy money on this train." I said as I lit a blunt. We passed the blunt around as we came up with some other plans to move forward with some other business.

Tavi

It's safe to say that I am officially a nervous wreck. "Man, I am too pregnant for this shit. I could possibly go into labor any day now from all this stress and I am only seven months." Kim said as she sat rubbing her very large stomach. "I know Kimmy, I do and trust and believe that they will end this shit or else I'm getting involved and it's not gonna be anything pretty. Matter of fact, let me call my daddy." I said opening the door revealing the guard standing at the door. "Deuce, call my daddy and tell him to come out here right now, I need to speak with him." I said closing the door back before he could protest. I know Marco wouldn't like the fact that I'm getting my father involved but my sister and nephew is in danger and I need this shit to end.

Soon enough, my daddy was walking through the door looking pissed and worried all at once. "Tavi, tell me what's going on before I murder your fiancé." He said pacing the floor. I filled him in on what happened and he was fuming even more. "Why the fuck didn't he end this shit before it got started? Look, listen to these guards and stay under wraps. I'm about to go find Marco and help him end this shit before it turns into an all out street war." I huffed knowing that my daddy was going to choke the hell out of Marco and then help him. I can't say that he doesn't deserve it though. I noticed it was getting late so I had one of the guards go get us some food.

I fed Asia, gave her a bath and put her to bed leaving Talia, Moe, Brit, Kim and I all up with our thoughts. "Have you spoken to a guard about AJ's whereabouts? This shit is getting out of hand and the thug in me is really starting to break out." I said as we finished eating our Chinese food. "I have and he supposed to be linked up with Marco nem. I don't like this shit and it need to be cleared up before I mess around and go into labor." Kim complained as I instantly came up with a plan. "Ya'll.....I just came up with the most beastly plan ever.." I said as I smiled evilly grabbing each of their attention.

Another chapter posted and I am trying so hard to give ya'll the juice. I'm also trying to end this book because I feel like its going on way too long.

Also, I will be starting not only the sequel to this book but I will also be starting another book. I will keep ya'll posted on the name and when to be on the lookout but for now I just need everyone to remain loyal and patient while I get us through this book.
