Chapter 37

Tavi

AJ and I hit the strip club with our security not too far behind. I may have been there on business but shit, I had to look good as well. I wore my fitted black suede dress that stop at my mid thigh with my black suede thigh high heel boots. I put my curly hair up into a sloppy bun with some silver accessories. Of course AJ matched my fly with his suede black suit, suede red colored tie and his suede red loafers. "Look at my bro matching my fly." I said looking him up and down after we exited his black range rover. "You know how I do sis." He said with a smirk while fixing his tie. I put my hand to my side and did the secret gesture for the security to go in and secure the spot before we went in. We already had some people in there watching the spot for anything funny or Mario. "Have you heard anything from Aunt Kera about Kim?" I asked AJ as we fumbled around with stuff trying to burn time while we waited for the go ahead. "Yeah, she finally told Kim about baby girl. She didn't take it too well. Now she asking for us." AJ said. I instantly got pissed and sad at the same time. "We gotta make this shit good AJ. They gotta pay." I said through gritted teeth. "Oh yeah, I already know." AJ said while walking towards the door once he spotted one of our guys come out and signal us in on the low.

Once we walked in and were seated, we tried to act as normal as possible. AJ ordered us some champagne, something that wouldn't get us drunk or anything while we waited for our targets to make their appearance. After awhile, I sent the text letting Brandy and Natalie know they can come on in. Moments after that, I spotted Marco and Q with Kendrick, and Jamar enter the club. "Fuck, they gone ruin our shit if he sees me in here." I said to AJ. "Who?" AJ replied while trying to see who I was talking about. "Marco, he in here with the boys and if he sees me he gonna wanna talk and I don't need Mario seeing me with him." I said while sending a message to the security guards to be on alert just in case he did see me, I could try and hide out.

"Aye Tav, it's go time." AJ said as he spotted Mario and Lance enter the club. "Time to let our plan take flight." I said as I grabbed my champagne glass and watched as Natalie and Brandy did as they were told. AJ and I sat and watched all night as Brandy and Natalie mingled and danced on Mario and Lance all night, and then they finally all left together. "Alright, let's call this a night. I need to get home to Asia." I'd been staying with Aunt Lena since Marco didn't really know where she stayed. Daddy tried to set us up in a nice hotel but I didn't want Asia exposed to that. I wanted to keep her life as normal as possible. "Did security follow Nat and Brandy?" AJ asked while taking the last sip of his champagne. "Yeah, they should be good." I answered.

So our plan went well and we decided to exit the club and call it a night. We have to be back up to the trap and then the hospital to see Kim tomorrow. As we were walking out of the club, Marco decided to grab Tavi's arm. "So it's like that ma? I'm your fucking fiancé and I have to stumble upon you in a club to get you to talk to me?" He said as Tavi snatched her arm away from him. "Aye Marco, there's no need to touch her and ya'll don't have to have this conversation here at the club. I got a hotel room, just come back to my place and talk about this shit calmly tomorrow." I said grabbing Tavi. "Nah, no disrespect AJ bro, but that shit mad disrespectful. My fiancé just up and leave without telling me then I don't hear from her for days at a time. I'm out here doing this shit for us." Marco said while looking at Tavi. "Doing what for us Marco?!" Tavi yelled. "You told me you left that shit alone. And then you get me and my family into this mess! YOUR MESS! My baby sister could have been killed. My niece is gone because of your shit and the way you want to live!" Tavi said as tears began streaming down her face. "I can't do this shit anymore Marco. Once I get shit settled here, I'm packing me and Asia's shit and I'm going to school. Whenever you're done with this shit and you wanna get your life together, you know where to find me. My heart will always be there waiting for you but don't take too long because I will not put my life and Asia's future on hold waiting for you to decide which is more important." Tavi said as she leaned in and placed a kiss on Marco's lips. We both exited the club and got into my truck.

"I already shot a text to Aunt Lena. Her and mama left some of your clothes at my place and they gonna watch out for Asia until we get all of this settled." I said and she nodded while looking out of the window. "I hate what I had to do back there cause I love his ass so much. But I can't live like this. I'm not about this, the only thing driving me now is the fact that I know if we don't kill them, they're gonna kill each and every one of us and I can't have that." Tavi said. "Don't beat yourself up about it. He brought it upon himself. He need to get out this shit like I did and do something better with himself. I'll have a talk with him about it if you want me to. I know you really love him. Got me over here sounding weak and shit." I said while laughing with her. "No, you don't have to talk to his ass, if he really wanna do right and be with me then he'll do that shit off instinct and not because my brother had to talk him into it or bring him to his senses about the shit. I'm gone be good regardless." Tavi said sounding more like herself.

We finally made it to the hotel and settled in. "Your room is down the hall to the right. Everything you need should already be in there." I told her as she went in her room for the night and I went in mine. I did my hygiene shit and hopped in the bed. It didn't take me long to crash.

I know Tavi said she wanted to go home to Asia but the way I see it, the more we distance ourselves with our family until this shit is over, the safer they will be for the time being. 

I woke up to knocking on my door. I looked at my phone to see it was three in the morning. Grabbing my gun from the nightstand I approached the door, quickly looking out of the peephole to see Tavi standing there with her bags. I snatched the door open. "What's wrong Tavi?" I asked looking both ways down the hall. "Nothing, I just can't sleep and I don't feel comfortable leaving Asia right now. I am going home." She said as she started to walk away. "Tavi! Tavi! Come in here." I said as I grabbed her before she could get too far. "No AJ, this is the main way people go wrong everytime. We can't just leave Aunt Lena nem at the house alone and unprepared. What if someone finds out where they are and go hit the house?" I ran my hand down my face and plopped on my bed. Tavi had a point there. "Okay, let me get my stuff and we can head out." I said as I started putting a shirt on and my slides. I didn't bring much stuff so it wasn't hard to pack. Tavi and I turned our room keys in and headed back to Aunt Lena's house. 

I REALLY APPRECIATE YALL BEING DEDICATED TO MY BOOK. HOWEVER, IT IS COMING TO AN END SOON AND THEN THE SEQUEL WILL BE POSTED. IM GONNA TRY AND GET A LITTLE BIT OF EVERYONE IN THESE LAST COUPLE OF CHAPTERS BEFORE I END IT.
