Nate's POV
There was a knock on my door. "Hey little buddy! Could you get the door please!" My dad shouted from upstairs. "Sure thing!" I shouted back as I walked to the door. I opened the door and what I saw made my blood boil. "Hey Nate." She said kindly. "Save the energy, Jade. Why are you here in the first place?" I said turning around. "Look, you're little 'girlfriend ' has the necklace right." She asked. "She's not my girlfriend!" I shouted. "And why would I tell you if she had it?" I asked. "Because I'm your big sister and I love you?" She asked. I simply shook my head and slammed the door in her face. Everything was a blur and I suddenly ended up outside right in front of my door. "Forgot I have magic on my side?" She sneered. Everything suddenly went black.
Jade's POV
I had put a sleep spell on my brother. Oh Nate, when will you learn? Don't get attached to anything.
