*Narcissa'sPOV*
Iflung a Laser Bolt at one of the vampires closing in on me.
"No!Get off!" I heard Willow call, I turned just in time to see a Vampclose in on her neck "Hey!" I called, the vamp looked up just intime to see a fireball fly at his face. Willow looked at me shockedand I helped her up. I turned to find Xander, when I saw Buffyhelping him
"Xander!" Willow cried, as Buffy kicked theVampires off of him while they were distracted by Willow. Buffyreached up and broke a branch off of a tree and stabbed one of thevampires with it, turning him to dust. Willow rushed over to Xanderwho was still on the ground.
"Xander, are you okay?" sheasked
"Man, something hit me." He groaned
"Where'sJesse?" Buffy asked making my look around. I completely forgotabout him
"I don't know! They surrounded us." Willowsaid
"That girl grabbed him and took off." Xander said as heheld his head
"Which way?" I asked
"I don't know." Heshrugged
Buffy and I stood up and slowly scanned thecemetery
"Jesse" we both whispered.

Thenext day in the library, Willow, Xander and satat a table with Buffy while Giles spoke to us
"This world isolder than any of you know. Contrary to popular mythology, it did notbegin as a paradise. For untold eons demons walked the Earth. Theymade it their home, their... their Hell. But in time they lost theirpurchase on this reality. The way was made for mortal animals, for,for man. All that remains of the old ones are vestiges, certainmagicks, certain creatures." He explained
"And vampires."Buffy added
"Okay, this is where I have a problem. See, becausewe're talking about vampires. We're having a talkwithvampires in it." Xander said
"Isn't that what we saw lastnight?" Willow asked
"No. No, th-those weren't vampires, thosewere just guys in thundering need of a facial. Or maybe they hadrabies. It could have been rabies. A-and that guy turning to dust?Just a trick of light" I scoffed "That's exactly what I said thefirst time I saw a vampire. Well, after I was done with the screamingpart." Buffy said
"Oh, I-I need to sit down." Willow saidfaintly
"You are sitting down." I told her
"Oh. Good forme." She smiled slightly
"So vampires are demons?" Xanderasked while I just sat there. I was just waiting for them to askabout me
"The books tell the last demon to leave this realityfed off a human, mixed their blood. He was a human form possessed,infected by the demon's soul. He bit another, and another, and sothey walk the Earth, feeding... Killing some, mixing their blood withothers to make more of their kind. Waiting for the animals to dieout, and the old ones to return."
"So what's Buffy?"Xander asked
"She's a Slayer" I smirked making them look atme. Giles more shocked than the rest
"Are you going to answer myquestion now? What are you?" Buffy demanded
"Oh please,weren't you listening in the mausoleum" I rolled my eyes "I'ma-"
"Witch" Willow gasped cutting me off
"Yeah, that"I smiled. I turned to Giles "Speaking off which, can I have mypendant back?"
"Oh of course" He reached into his jacketpocket and pulled it out and hand it to me. I quickly put it onfeeling like me again.
"Thanks" I winked making him flush
"Sowhat was with the fire? And the laser show" Xander asked
"Unlikeother witches. I get my powers from my family. Both my parents andtheir families are Witches and Warlocks. Each power gets handed down,but it sometimes skips a generation. My parents call me specialsometimes, because I have more powers than I should have." Iexplained.
I smiled when I saw Giles look at me with awe.
"Whatare your powers?" Willow asked eagerly
"I could show you someof them" I said
"Please?" Giles asked looking like child onChristmas
I looked at a book next to where his hand was and liftedit with my mind. I giggled when Giles jumped. When he looked at thebook everyone else I quickly smoked to the other side of the room.When they looked back they jumped
"Where'd she go?" Buffyasked. I smoked back in front of them giving them a shock
"Thatis so cool!" Xander exclaimed "Can you do that with anotherperson?" he asked grinned
"Let's find out" I smiled andgrabbed his hand before smoking out of the Library and Into mybedroom and back again
"that was awesome!" Xander cried,grinning "What else can you do?"

"I'llshow you once we find Jesse" I said.

Xanderlooked at Giles "What is a slayer anyway?"

"Foras long as there have been vampires, there's been the Slayer. Onegirl in all the world, a Chosen One."
"He loves doing thispart." Buffy scoffed
"Alright. The Slayer hunts vampires,Buffy is a Slayer, don't tell anyone. Well, I think that's all thevampire information you need." Giles quickly explained
"Exceptfor one thing: how do you kill them?" Xander asked
"Youdon't, Ido." Buffy said
"Well, Jesse's my--"
"Jesse is myresponsibility. I let him get taken." Buffy interupted
"That'snot true" Xander protested
"If you hadn't shown up they wouldhave taken us, too. Does anybody mind if I pass out?" Willow askedfaintly
"Breath" I told her
"Breathe." she mimicked me
"This big guy, Luke." Buffy said to Giles "He talked aboutan offering to the Master. Now, I don't know what or who, but if theyweren't just feeding then Jesse may still be alive. I'm gonna findhim."
"Uh, this may be the dumb question, but shouldn't wecall the police?" Willow innocently asked
"And they'd believeus, of course." Giles snarked slightly
"Well, we don't haveto say vampires. We, we could just say that there's a, a bad man."Willow said
"They couldn't handle it even of they did show up.They'd only come with guns." I said
"You have no idea wherethey took Jesse?" Giles asked
"I looked around, but soon asthey got clear of the graveyard, they could have just, voom!" Buffyexplained
"They can fly?" Xander's head shot up
"Theycan drive." Buffy and I said
"Oh."
" I don't rememberhearing a car." Willow said
"Me neither" I added
"Let'stake an enormous intuitive leap, shall we, and say they wentunderground." Giles said
"Vampires really jam on sewersystems. You can get anywhere in the entire town without catching anyrays. But I didn't see any access around there." Buffy said
"Well,there's an electrical tunnel that runs under the whole town." Itold Giles
"If we had a diagnostic of the tunnel system itmight indicate a, a meeting place, it would, uh... I suppose we couldgo to the building commission." Giles said
"We sodon't have time." Buffy groaned
"Uh, guys? There may beanother way." Willow said quietly making me smile. That's my girl.
