Sean POV

That was an awful shift. A massive accident on the interstate had all of the local hospitals were overwhelmed. It is a blessing and a curse to be so close to the hospital. On the one hand it is good to help out when I am really needed; on the other they always call me first. It would have been nice to spend the night wrapped around Pookie since I have to work my regularly scheduled night shift again tonight. Oh well, it's 7AM, I picked up breakfast from the diner across from the hospital, and I get to see my Pookie in just a few minutes. Life could be a lot worse.

Walking in from the garage I notice that Sang's Nintendo DS is sitting on the arm rest of my recliner. That wasn't there when I left. Then I notice that neither Sang nor Owen is awake. That's odd. Neither of them ever sleeps in this late. Slowly I pad up the stair and to my bedroom. Opening the door I have to stop myself from cheering at the sight. Sang is curled around Owen's side, his arm is around her, and if his mouth was any closer to the top of her head I would consider him a hungry zombie from one of Nathan's movies. What did you two do last night? Owen doesn't just let anyone curl up to him like that.

Thankfully, they have left enough room for me to snuggle in next to Sang. I quickly divest myself of my tie, pants, and over shirt and make my way under the covers. Sang stirs and in her sleepiest voice greets me. "Good morning, Dr. Sean."

I can still see the sleep in her eyes, but I cannot resist knowing how last night went. "Good morning, Pookie." I give her a quick kiss. "How did Mr. Bossy Pants do last night?"

Sang turns to face me as sleep threatens to take her again, "Owen slept fine Sean." Owen? Since when did she call him Owen? "We fell back asleep after he kissed me." Sang promptly falls back asleep after her big reveal. Well holy shit! He finally gave in. And I guess that answers the Owen question.

I watch as Owen instinctively rolls over, reaches for Sang, and brings her back towards his chest. Not wanting to be left out of the Sang sandwich, I turn to face her and wrap my arms around my waist. I could get use to falling asleep like this. When I awake sometime later the bed is empty and a note is left where Sang was sleeping.

Dr. Sean -

We didn't want to wake you. Come find us downstairs when you get up.

- Nurse Pookie

She signed it Nurse Pookie for me! Now if I could only convince her to actually become a nurse or a doctor. Pookie in a white coat, a pair of heals, and some thigh high stockings... I let my mind wander through the images of Sang in very little until there is a knock at the door. Owen enters and one look at me and he knows where my mind has been. Well, if he couldn't read my thought the pillow covering my obvious erection would have told him what he needed to know.

"Enjoying your alone time, Dr. Green?" Oh, Owen two can play this game and I know what you did last night.

"I am currently enjoying some lovely images that Pookie's note conjurer up. But I would rather talk about you and Pookie last night." Owen tries to look at me like he has nothing to hid, but his millimeter smile is giving him away. "Or were you not going to tell me about your kiss with Sang?"

Owen gives me a smile. Not the millimeter one, a full on genuine, oh my lord in heaven you would not believe it but Owen actually has teeth smile. Oh, you have got it bad my friend. I look at him with semi-stern eyes and silently command that he starts talking. Thankfully, he seems eager to unload his excitement on me.

"I don't even know where to start Sean. I woke up around 3 to an empty room and I knew something was off so I went to find you and Sang. She was downstairs on the recliner playing that Animal Crossing game and I asked where you were and why she was awake still. After explaining that you were called in she told me she had a nightmare and didn't want to wake me because she was given instructions to take care of me. I may have scolded her firmly about told her that I wanted her to wake me up.

"Owen Blackbourne scolds someone firmly? Never! What did she say when you told her you wanted her to wake you up?"

"She started in with the Mr. Blackbourne and I cut her off and told her my name was Owen. It was rather impulsive of me. I'll have to have a conversation with her about using my formal name in appropriate settings." I roll my eyes at him, get up from the bed, and walk over to Owen.

"For heaven's sake Owen, I've been waiting for you to make a move for months now. Get to the good stuff!" When he gives me a cheeky grin I know that he was delaying just to torture me.

"No, Sean. You have to wait. After you had Mr. Colman pack Sang that grey scrub pajamas, you have no right to talk about torture! You're lucky I'm not in charge for another 36 hours or I'd have you, Mr. Colman, and Mr. Morgan who no doubt had to purchase said item, doing hours for me - in the rain - until I felt you were adequately tortured enough."

I give him my biggest grin. "Well it is a good thing that I'm in charge then." Now to go in for the kill. "And since I'm in charge, I'm ordering you to GET TO THE GOOD STUFF. Now."

He pauses and sighs. "It was heaven, Sean." When he pauses again, I know to just wait him out. Owen has never been good with his own feelings. The feelings of my brothers and I he can handle, but if ask him to describe what he is feeling and you have to watch as he emotionally shuts down.

"I never wanted it to end, Sean. For the first time in forever, I wasn't Mr. Blackbourne - Academy Leader. I was Owen Blackbourne - 19 year old who got lucky enough to hold the love of his life in his arms while he slept. I got to kiss her, Sean! And she kissed me back. Me, Sean!" I could see that Owen was on a roll and I knew better than to stop him with any questions until he was finished. "Me! I'm cold and standoffish with her and she still kissed me back. I honestly don't deserve her, but I would call her Sang every time if I could always see her face light up like I did last night. I'd kiss her every day if it meant that her eyes wouldn't have that hidden sorrow any more. She was happy and she responded to my kisses. So if you really want to know how it was, I'll tell you. It was the best night of my life so far and it's all because of that girl downstairs."

The sound of a gasp from behind Owen had us turning around to face the door. Pookie looked at us with wide eyes and then ran out of the room. The sound of the front door slamming shut brought us out of our stupor and had us running after her. Shit!

A/N: I know. I know. It's a bit cliffy. And Ipromise that I'm already working on the next update, but with Thanksgiving herein the US next week, work has been crazy busy.
