The next morning, all the world was abuzz with one thing - "New York" and my weepy demeanor from the night before.

"Natasha Quinn Tears Up While Covering Snow Patrol Song in London. Confirmation of Rumors?"

"On-Stage Tears As Rockstar Plays An Unscheduled Ballad - But For Whom? The Name of the Song Could Be a Clue..."

"Nat Cries On Stage! (VIDEO)"

I couldn't even leave my hotel room without being bombarded with questions. Adam was losing his English mind, swatting away at reporters and cameras like a pompous karate master. We finally squeezed into the tour bus and drove away as quickly as we could, leaving all the questions behind.

"I don't know why on earth you sang that song, Natasha, but I sure hope you had a good reason," he said nasally, biting into an apple.

I laughed it off and sat across from Mom; she was busily hunched over a crossword puzzle, something she had always done since my childhood. Her pink reading glasses glinted in the light as she lifted her head. "I thought your performance was wonderful, muffin," she said, smiling. She looked at me like 'I know what that was all about'. I looked at her as if to say, 'I know...don't let anyone else get any ideas.'

Jimmy didn't call me at three last night - he called me at two. "Sorry - I just couldn't wait," he said quickly before even saying hello. "I saw you sing. The cover you did, I mean. Was that...was that for....?"

"Yes," I said, smiling.

"It...it was for me?"

"Mm-hmm."

He didn't respond for a minute, taking it all in. "Tasha...that was so beautiful."

"It was all for you," I told him. "I'm glad you liked it."

"I loved it, but you know what?"

"What?"

"It's only made it worse," he said, voice growing a bit softer. "I miss you even worse now."

I knew exactly what he meant; I was feeling the same way. "Well, the tour is halfway over now. We have that to look forward to."

"No," he said. "I have to see you - I have to see you now."

"I wish you could!"

"I will!" he said. I chuckled.

"I really wish you could..."

Adam stared at me from across the room, a stern look on his face. "What?" I finally asked, pausing my game of Words with Friends with Jimmy.

"Are the rumors true?"

My heart stopped. "What ru - "

"You know which rumors," he said. "Natasha - be straight with me. Is it all true?"

Mom glanced up at me across the table. I turned to face Adam completely. I knew this day would come. Singing that song last night was not the greatest idea when it came to keeping our secret. But maybe it was about time to let the cat out of the bag - to let the Jimmy out of the mask.

"Yes," I said. "It is."

Adam gaped.

"Well, not all of it. There's a lot of it that's completely rumor. Do you want me to explain? Because I can," I said rather quickly, nervously playing with my fingers and stuttering my words. I was a nervous wreck. Adam was shocked silly. Mom looked like she wanted to go make popcorn.

Adam closed his mouth. He nodded once.

"Okay," I said, letting out a big sigh. "Let's start from the beginning...."
