A/N: Two parts in one day! Dun dun dun. Consider this a Christmas present, I suppose haha. This one is picking up exactly where the last one left off. Oh, and quick fun fact - I mentioned the cologne Jimmy wears in the last part because I recently got the chance to take a whiff of that stuff and oh my gosh it is the literal greatest cologne ever in the world. If you're curious, it's called John Varvatos and it is perfect. Go to a department store and causally spray some on a tester card to keep in your journal like the crazed Falpal you are. You won't regret it. (Or at least I didn't) (I did it for science - for this fanfic!) (how else would I be able to describe it correctly? It wouldn't be right if I just made stuff up) (or maybe I just wanted to know what my celebrity boyfriend smells like) (not creepy at all) (ha) (anyways) -

He messed with his tie. "Tasha," he began, "we've been together a while and I know this seems crazy and fast, but this is New York and that's just how things are here. Look, the point is, I love you and - ,"

RING RING RING

"Oh no," he breathed, reaching into his pocket and pulling out his phone. "Hello?" he answered. I walked forward to take his free hand. "Oh gosh," he sighed, closing his eyes slowly. "We'll be right there." He stuffed his phone back in his pocket. "Good thing we paid in advance," he said lightly. I grabbed my purse.

"So what happened?" I asked as he took my arm. We were speed-walking out of the place, taking every back door possible to avoid the press.

"When I was just about to leave to meet you here, Gary started acting strange," he said. "She wasn't as affectionate as usual, I don't know. It was weird. Then she started throwing up all over the place. I didn't know what to do. It was time to leave, but I couldn't leave her sick like that. So I rushed her to the vet, called Justin to stay with her, and here we are."

"What did they end up finding wrong with her?"

"She ate something she shouldn't have," he said, unlocking the car. I hopped in and he started it. "Probably most of a water bottle. I don't even know how she found it, but it all must've happened while I was at work. They couldn't get the plastic out through endoscopy so now she's in surgery."

"Is that what the phone call was about?"

He nodded. "Yeah. That's what Justin told me."

"I'm so sorry, babe," I said, rubbing his back. He offered me a sad smile, like he appreciated what I was doing, but was so worried he couldn't think straight. Suddenly, something occurred to me. "Hold on a second - you said 'Justin'? As in, Justin Timberlake?"

"Mm hmm," he replied casually, "he's in town for the show this week."

I gasped. "I can't believe I'm about to meet the other half of my brotp!"

He let out a short laugh. "What? 'Brotp?' And you haven't met Justin yet? How?", as though it was impossible for one to get through life without the amazing Justin Timberlake.

"I just haven't," I said, shrugging, "I guess I'm not famous enough yet."

"Well, he's a great guy," said Jimmy, "you'll love him."

He let out a nervous breath as he parked the car. I took his hand while we walked to the entrance, caring more about how he felt than if somebody with a camera was around. I kissed his cheek for added effect, hoping this helped his nerves. He shot me another grateful smile and we went in.

Justin was in the waiting room. My heart kinda freaked out when I saw him. Meeting celebrities is like that - your brain doesn't know what to think. Suddenly someone who has only ever been on TV or in a photo on your iPhone or singing on the radio is right in front of you and talking to you. It's very surreal.
