I had a good night sleep because I know my brothers are back together like how they used to be. At first, I thought I was just dreaming, but it turns out to be real. I woke up between my big brothers and Stella sitting on top of me. Mom must have unlocked it already. She was looking down at me with a giddy smile, meaning that she was hyper. “Ssshh. Don’t wake them up.” I whispered,
She giggled quietly, “Ssshhh.”
I glanced at the clock and it said that it was nine in the morning. I scooted out of bed and stood up with Stella propped on my hip, “I better go pack.”
“Where are you going?” She asked as I made my way to my room,
“I’m going back home.”
She pouted, “Do you have to go? Why can’t you come home with me?”
I set her down on my bed and tweaked her nose, “Because I have my own family there.”
“Is it those five men?”
I nodded, “You can come visit me anytime you want or maybe I could visit you.” Then I went on packing, or dumping things into my bag. You could say that I’m a pretty quick packer because I never really pull everything out when it comes to unpacking. “Has granny left for work yet?”
“Yes.”
“Where’s your mom?”
“She’s making food.”
“Why don’t you go have breakfast?” I scooped her off bed and ushered her to the kitchen. I needed to take a long shower before that dreaded hours on the plane. I took my time in the shower and let the warm water sooth my muscles. That took me at least an hour and a half. Then I went back to AJ’s room and found those two still fast asleep. I then startled at the ringing of my phone,
“Have you showered?” Mark asked,
“Uh, yea…”
“Good, because we’re picking you up in a few.”
“What about Glen? Don’t forget the kid.”
“Yea, we’re going to pick him up too.”
“Later.”
“Be ready.”
I have one question in mind: How do I wake those two up? Should I go hardcore or something mush? I think I’ll go easy on AJ. I stepped over Andy and plopped on my previous spot, “AJ? Hello?” I shook his shoulder,
He groaned, “I’m up.” So he’s easy to be waked up,
“Go get ready.”
His eyes fluttered opened, “For what?”
“We’re leaving, remember?”
He blinked, “Right.”
“The guys are going to pick us up and then we’ll pick Glen up.”
He swung his legs to the edge of the bed, “Sounds good.”
I scooted next to him, “You know I have a boyfriend, right?”
