have you ever walked past one of your former best friends in the school hallways?

it's pretty painful.

seeing them move on, seeing that they are okay without you. while you are struggling, finding it hard to find motivation in life.

'we are going to be best friends forever' they said the year before, but now there's nothing but a broken promise and hurt feelings.

the worst thing is seeing them walk past you with not even the slightest glance. even when they do look at you, its like you meant nothing to them, like you were just a notch in their belt. not even a simple 'hello'

when are they going to realize that you're not okay? days? weeks? months? years even. and when they come crawling back. what are you supposed to do now? forgive them?

no. don't do that.

they don't deserve to be forgiven. they have caused you pain and they are the reason that you have been hurt for so long because nobody was there to catch you when you fell. thats like inviting the person who murdered you to your funeral.

when your 'best friend' comes crawling back this is what you do to them.

you give them a taste of their own medicine. you stab them in the heart, and twist it deeper in their chest until they feel all the pain that you felt for the past year

metaphorically speaking ya know. or not.

you forgive, but never forget.
