Kendall's POV:
I woke up with a wicked hangover. What the hell did I drink last night? And why do I smell like perfume mixed with alcohol? Uggghhh.. I smell like my mom.. How did I get into pajamas last night? Why do I have to ask myself so many questions? Oh my God, I'm annoying myself!!!
I looked over at Avery's bed and she wasn't there. "Avery!" I yelled. Wow, not a good idea when you're still hungover, major headache.
"What?" she yelled even louder from the bathroom.
"Can you not yell?" I asked back.
"Still hungover?" she said laughing while walking into our room.
"I think so.." I said while she handed me some Tylenol. "How come I don't remember anything from last night?" I asked.
"What's the last thing you remember?" She asked.
"I remember you pulling me away from Carter, and then I don't remember anything else". I replied back with a small smile on my face.
"Oh yes, you and him were sucking eachother's faces for a good 20 minutes". She said with a disgusted look on her face. "I had to pull you off before I puked."
"Whatever." I said with a smirk. "So what happened after?"
"Well, after I pulled you off of Carter and you said your goodbyes, I literally had to almost carry you to Carson's car, and just so you know, even though you look all tiny and adorable, you weighed as much as a freaking elephant when I had to carry your dead weight." She said with a light laugh.
"Shut up." I said with humor in my voice.
"Well it's true. Anyways, after I carried you to the car, you wouldn't stop whining that you wanted Chinese food. I kept asking why, but you just said random things in Spanish". She said.
"Oh, yeah.. I speak Spanish." I said shyly.
"Yeah, I figured that out when you started yelling at me in a totally different language". She said while laughing.
"Sorry about that. I didn't know I was that bad". I said kind of shocked. I never acted like that when I was drunk.
"It's fine." She said with a hint of laughter in her voice. "But hurry up, I'm gonna drive us to school and it's already 6:30."
"Fine, but can you do my hair?" I asked while pointing up to my rat's nest that I call hair.
"Yeah, come on." She said smiling.
I ended up wearing one of my most favorite outfits. Just a plain flowy lace top and white shorts. Avery curled my hair and did my makeup so I didn't look like I was hungover. I didn't care what people at school thought about me, but I cannot let my dad find out about this.
"Hey.. How are my two favorite girls doing?" my dad asked as me and Avery got down the stairs.
"Good". Me and Avery said at the same time.
"Good, good... Well, I better get going." He said. "See you later". He said to each of us as he kissed our foreheads.
"Bye." I said with a small smile on my face.
**********
As we pulled up to school, everybody was talking about the party last night. As we got out of the car, everybody turned to look at me and Avery... Well, not Avery, but me. Then, I started to hear the whispers.
"Is that her?"
"So fake!"
"She looks like a Barbie!"
"Carter fell for her? Never"
"She's the one that made out with Carter last night?"
"No, she's too much of a goody goody."
"Look at her, who does she think she is? Paris Hilton?"
I couldn't take it anymore.. I started to walk faster and faster until I got inside. I sat down over by Carson and told him Avery was right behind me. I just sat there wondering why everyone was so interested in what happened last night. Yeah, sure, me and Carter kissed, but we were both wasted, it's not like we're together or anything.
"Hey.. You alright?" Avery asked me as she walked up to the table.
"Why wouldn't she be?" Carson asked curiously.
"Kids where talking shit in the parking lot". Avery said nonchalantly.
"Hey, don't worry about it." Carson said while putting an arm around me. "If they keep talking shit, tell me, and I'll beat their ass".
"I'll make sure to do that." I said with a sad smile.
"So.. Why are they talking about you?" Carson asked.
"Because.." Avery began. "She was making out with Mr. Carter Mason last night in the middle of the dance floor last night."
"Damn!! Carter has more game than I thought he did!" Carson exclaimed as I cringed of how loud his voice was.
"Shut up Carson." Avery said slapping his arm lightly. "She's still hungover".
"Sorry baby Kendall". Carson said in a baby voice.
"It's fine". I said back pinching his cheek. "See you guys later." I said walking towards my first period math class.
As I started walking down the hall, I could feel people's eyes burning into my back. As I turned around to look, they all slowly looked away. What is wrong with these people.
When I got to my locker, I started putting in my combination, just as a girl marched up to me.
"Ummmm.. Hi?" I said not knowing what else to say.
"Stay away." She said.
"And who are you?" I asked curiously.
"Aislin Scott." She said as if I was supposed to know.
"Kendall Grey." I said back in the same tone.
"Yeah, I know". She said already getting pissed off.
"What's your problem?" I asked.
"My problem is you. Stay away from Carter Mason". She said.
"And why should I listen to you?" I said back.
"Because. He. Is. Mine." She said possessively walking away.
"What if I don't listen to you?" I shouted back.
"You will... Or else". She said back.
I couldn't hold in my laugh any longer. I busted out laughing. She turned around a flipped me off. She thinks she owns Carter? Well ok.. Good luck with that one. God, this little voice in my head is getting more and more sarcastic.
As I shut my locker, Carter was standing right behind it, leaning against the lockers.
"Holy shit!!!!!!" I yelled as he scared me.
"Shit is not holy." He said as we started walking towards class. "So.. As I was walking up.. I heard voices.. Who were you talking to?" He asked curiously/
"Ummm.... You might know her." I said back. He looked curious. "Aislin Scott."
As soon as I said it, his face immediately dropped. "What's wrong with you?" I asked curiously.
"Nothing.. I gotta go." He said storming out of the classroom before class even started.
What's up with him and this Aislin chick? She is so pretty!! Ugghhhh.. Not fair..
