Chapter seven

Nate's POV

I say outside her room door until the doctor gave me permission to go back inside. And even when he told me I still say there for a moment before walking inside. She was awake but her eyes where red from crying.

"Hey Lilly. You alright?" I asked her nicely.

"Get out Nate. I don't want you around me anymore."

Shocked again I was not sure what was causing her to think this. I sat down in a chair next to the bed.

"Lil come on talk to me sweetie. Why are you acting like this?" I placed my hand on her leg but she shooed it off. "Don't touch me!"

I moved my hand away and let out a sigh. "I'm very confused. We were find until last night?" I spoke softly so she would stay calm.

"Because last night I found out that I made a huge mistake to ever even talk to you again. If only I had a time machine..."

That hurt me. Deeply.

"....and I especially regret kissing you. You are out if control. It's not safe for me to be with you because of what you make me feel. I love you yet hate you at the same time and that's to overwhelming. Nate I really don't think we should be together."

I didn't have a response. Once again I get my heart broken. First Rachel and now Lilly? This is the second time Lilly has dumped me and it's for the same reason as last time. Maybe there is something wrong with me.

"Lil please don't do this. I love you I do. I really do and I want to be with you. I dont want to lose you again. Please just give me one last chance. I promise I can change. For you I would change the world." I was begging now. What else was I todo?

She didn't cry this time. "Nate I think you need to leave." She said in a shaky voice.

"No Lilly I can't leave you!"

"Nate please its only for the best."

"Maybe the best for you but not for me! I need you to be in my life!"

"We can always be friends Nate. It's not a big deal."

"It's a big deal to me! I dont wanna be friends! I want to be your boyfriend! I want I be your husband! I wanna be the father of your children!...our children. I want to spend my life with you Lilly. An not just as friends."

"I know you do. And that's fantastic. I'm glad you feel the same way I did.."

"Did?"

She sighed. "I used to feel the same way but. I don't anymore. At least I don't think I do. I need time to think ok. This is all so very confusing for me. Between you and jack..."

"Jack?! What you have feelings for him too now!"

"He is nice to me Nate! He treats me well! He actually cares about me being ok when all you seem to care about is being together! Jack is good to me! He makes me feel better! You and all your negativity doesn't help me at all!" We both started to raise our voices at each other.

"Don't worry. I'll take are of Jack for you." I said and I exited the room.

"Nate leave him alone!" She said but one again I kept ignoring her and left the hospital. I got into my car and headed straight for Jack's house.

I stomped into the house and saw jack and Andrew eating and watching tv. Jack looked at me and so did Andrew and they both could tell I was mad. Jack set down his plate and stood up. Andrew copies him.

"Nate lets talk this one out ok? Nobody needs to be hurt." Andrew said calmly.

"Shut the fuck up Andrew. Stay out of this." I said to Andrew but glaring at Jack. "You wanna know what she told me Jack? You wanna know what you did to me and her?" I said walking towards Jack.

"Umm what?" He answered nervously

"She broke up with me. Because of you! Do you know how much I love her!!! And you have to come along and be all nice and shit and screw it up!!!! Now she has feelings for you!!!" At this point I was very close to jack and he was up against a wall with nowhere to run. Good.

I threw a punch and hit his jaw. Then Andrew rushed up behind me as I was about to throw another and pulled me away. Andrew had a bit more strength then me so I was unable to escape.

"Let me go Dost!!!! Let me go!!!" I yelled at him. Andrew shook his head no and did not let go.

"You need to calm down Nate! This isn't like you!" He said.

I didn't listen to him. Instead I kicked him in the balls and he dropped me. I rushed over and did the same to jack then punched him one last time. I knelt down beside him and whispered into his ear. "If you go anywhere near her. You won't see the light of day."

I kicked his side and he finally fell to the ground in pain. I stormed out of the house an left. I went to a bar.
