Chapter ten

Lilly's POV

Once we stopped we were just laying in bed next to each other. I turned to my side to face Jack who was laying on his back with his hands behind his head.

I scooted towards him and put my arms around him and he turned his head and looked at my then smiled and laid one arm across me.

Something about being in his arms just made everything feel ok. Like being with him made me safe again. He kisses the top if my head and I looked up at him and smiled.

We didn't even need words. Just being with each other was enough. I closed my eyes and laid my head on his chest and I had one if my legs tossed over his. I wasn't tired but relaxed. It was like he put a spell on me. This man was magical.

He glanced over at the clock. "Shit" he whispered. I looked at him confused and sat up a bit. "What?" I asked him.

"I'm gunna be late for work." He said as he stood up and picked up his clothes off the floor and put his pants back on. I stood up as well and tossed on my clothes. "I guess I should go home then." I said followed by a sigh.

Jack walked over to me. "No. Come on. You can come with me." He insisted.

"Where do you work?" I asked him.

"There is a bar nearby that I have been performing at. Since the band is obviously going nowhere. If we are even a band anymore." He said as he hug his head. "Hey it's ok." I said and walked over to him and gave him a hug. He hugged me back gently.

"I would love to come to the bar and watch you play ok."

His head lifted up and he smiled. "Great." He said.

I slipped on my shoes and looked at him letting him know I was ready. He held my hand and walked me to the door then to the car. He opened up the car door for me and helped me inside then he walked over to the drivers side and got in and backed out of the driveway.

We arrived at the bar and jack sang a few songs with his guitar. He always looked at me and smiled. I smiled back of course. He made my happy.

But suddenly I got a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach. I didn't feel so happy anymore. I didn't feel so safe. I was scared. What was wrong? Then he walked in.......Nate.
