Chapter six

Nate's POV

The concert was a blast. So many fans showed up. We took some time at the end to sign autographs and take pictures with fans.

I still feel bad about what happened between me and Lilly. She was so upset like I knew she would be. I have to apologize to her. I do not want a repeat of what happened when we first dated.

I heard an accident go on down the road. I didn't see it but it sounds awful. As I was leaving the carnival I drive by the accident.

It looked like a car crashed into the side wall pretty hard. Weird thing that the car looked like Lilly's. It couldn't have been her though. I kept driving heading home to Lilly.

I drove up to the house. Where is Lilly's car?! Please tell me that wasn't Lilly's car accident. I pulled out of the drive way and quickly drove to the hospital. I texted jack and Andrew to meet me there because I was worried. They both said they were on their way.

I wanted to cry. I was crying. All I could do was hope it wasn't her and if it was that she was ok.

I arrived at the hospital and quickly jumped out of my car and rushed to the doors. I stormed inside the hospital and saw some doctors rushing somebody to a room. I freaked out. From what I saw it looked like Lilly.

I ran up to the window that was in the room and looked inside. It was her... It was Lilly... I didn't eat much of a look before the doctors shut the curtains.

I feel to my knees. I broke down. I cried. I slapped a wall with my fist. I didn't know what to do. This was all my fault. This would have never happened if it went for me being such an idiot.

Andrew and Jack rushed to my side. I guess they just showed up. They both kneeled down beside me and hugged me in comfort. They kept talking to me but I was blocking them out.

I didn't look up I just kept my head in my hands and cried. I did peak up once for a few seconds and Jack looked real upset too. Andrew looked worried about the whole thing. I just want her to be ok.

A FEW HOURS LATER...

Jack's POV

Lilly was hurt. I was devastated. Probably not as upset as Nate though. Nate ha passes out in the waiting room so Andrew took him to our place. I stayed here because, well. I wanted to. I care about Lilly.

I just told Andrew I would yay here for Nate's sake but honesty I didn't care about Nate. I just wanted her to be ok.

The doctors have yet to tell me what's wrong with her an if she is ok. They said I would know soon but that was hours ago. I wonder how she wen crashed?

There where no other cars in the crash jut hers slammed against a wall. Ugh I could not wait to be able to talk to her about this.

A doctor walked up to me. I quickly stood up in worry of what he might tell me.

"She is going to be fine. Don't worry. We ran our tests and she has some mild was damage but not too bad. That airbag saved her life. She is barley awake right now if you would like to visit her." The doctor told me.

I nodded my head and walked into the room quietly. She looked awful yet beautiful at the same time. There was cuts all along her face. Some still bleeding a bit. I sat down next to her bed and smiled softly at her when she opened her eyes and looked at me.

"J-jack? Is that you?" She said weakly.

"Hey Lilly. Yeah it's Jack. How are you feeling? Do you need anything?"

"No no I'm fine. My leg kinda hurts but it's alright."

"I can get the nurse? How badly does it hurt?"

"It's ok Jack. I'm fine. It doesn't hurt a lot. I'll be ok."

"You sure?"

"Positive. Where is Nate?"

"He fell asleep in the waiting room so Andrew took him to my place. He has been here since you got to the hospital. You have been here about 5 hours."

She got an upset look on her face and her eyes watered.

"Are you ok?" I said.

She shook her head no as a tear feel down her face.

"Hey it's ok. I'm here. I'm here for you Lilly. Tell me what's wrong." I gently laid on hand in her arm letting her know I was here to comfort her.

She looked at my with her green eyes filled with tears. "It's Nate. He just. He doesn't even care." She said sobbing. I wasn't sure if I should but I moved over and laid down next to her and she moved close to me and crude in my chest. I held her gently so I wouldn't hurt her and rubbed her back.

"He does care Lilly. He stayed here for 5 hours waiting for you to be ok. He didn't want to leave. He broke down and cried for a long time about you."

"But he hasn't changed at all since we dated before. He just. He doesn't make time for me." She says starting to cry more.

"Shhh. It's ok. It's alright." I said as she slowly cried herself to sleep. It was very late and I fell asleep there with her too.

THE NEXT DAY

Nates POV

It's morning. I'm going to the hospital to check on Lilly. Andrew brought me home last night and that was nice but I didn't want to be home. I wanted to be with her.

Jack didn't come home last night. I wonder if he stayed there with her. I can tell he has feelings for her because of the way he acts with her.

I drove for miles until I finally traced the hospital. I walked around and found Lilly's room. I walked in and saw....them....laying together...jack was holding her and she was letting him... They where asleep. Until I started yelling.

"Jack! What the fuck are you doing!"

Jack woke up and Lilly did to but she was still groggy. Jack got out if the bed quickly.

"Nate listen she was upset and crying I was just comforting her. Nothing happened. It's fine."

"Shut the hell up! Your lying!!! You have feelings for her I know!! I can see it in your eyes!! The way you talk to her! The way you act with her! Get the hell away from my girlfriend!!!" I yelled.

"Nate please stop yelling." Lilly said. I ignored her.

"I said get away from my girlfriend!" I said as jack stood next to Lilly's bed still not moving. That was it. I grabbed his arm and yanked him away from the bed. Jack almost hit the wall.

"Nate stop!!!" Lilly yelled

"Calm down Nate!! Your dreaming her out!!" Jack said too.

"I don't give a shit!!!" I said before slapping jack across the face hard.

"Nate please!!!!!" Lilly yelled once more and her heart rate machine started speeding up out of control and Lilly was freaking out.

This stopped me. A doctor rushed in next to her then turned to us. "You need to get out of here now and control yourself!" He said in a stern voice. Me and jack walked out.

"Jack please stay. I'm scared." Lilly said before jack left. The doctor nodded and jack looked at me then walked out of the room and left the hospital with out saying a word. Lilly started crying. I walked in and tried to hold her hand to comfort her but she wouldn't let me and told me to leave.

Shocked I walked out of the room then stood out side the door wondering what I had done.
