Chapter 8

Stefan's pov-

Me and Damon were in the cellar with Elena. Elena told us to keep her locked away in here so she couldn't kill anybody else. We kept bringing her blood bags but she refused to drink them. It had only been 2 days so we had another couple of weeks before Elena would start to go mad about not having blood.

'Elena your going have to drink some blood soon.' Damon said.

'Well I don't want to.' Elena snapped back. 'Why are you too even in here with me I said I want to be left alone.'

'Damon lets leave her alone.' I said.

'Fine but when your body starts to shut down. Don't say wile didn't try to help you.' Damon then walked out.

'Just ignore him.' I then walked out.

We walked up to the living room and Damon sat down on the sofa. 'Why are you being so nice to her, we need her to drink blood.'

'Damon, it's not like she will die. If we just leave her, she will crave blood and then she will eventually ask for it when she realizes her body is going to shut down.'

'I don't want to wait though.'

'Well we're going have to.'

'I'm going to the grill, I need to drink.' Damon then speeds out of the house. My phone then starts to ring in my bedroom, so I speed up to go and get it.

'Hello.' I answered.

'Hello, Stefan, it's Lisa.'

'Oh, hey Lisa, what's up?'

'Laurens dead.'

'What?'

'She was involved in a hit and run.'

'Lisa I'm so sorry.' My eyes then widened because Lauren had my blood in her system. 'Erm, Lisa? When did she die?'

'It was the night we came to your house.' I knew what that meant Lauren wasn't dead, she's going to wake up soon so I better go to her.

'Where are you now?'

'I'm still at the hospital.'

'I'm coming now.'

'No, Stefan, you don't...'

I interrupted Lisa 'it's fine, I'm on my way.' I then put the phone down and speeded to my car. I had to help Lauren when she wakes up or she's not going to have a clue what happened to her.

Lisa's pov-

I was sitting in the waiting room at the hospital with Christina. Kath had taken Dani and Amy home because neither of them could deal with the fact that Lauren was gone. Well to be honest neither could I. I'm never going to see her again. I don't known what to do.

'Lisa I'm just going home to get some money, so we can get something to eat. I will be as fast as I can.' Christina said. I nodded my head, tears were falling down my cheeks. 'Lisa everything's going to be ok.' She explained. Christina then walked of. I knew it wasn't going to be ok, how could it be ok? Lauren had died. Mini me had died. Why Lauren? Why our family? I just pray that somehow she will wake up. Stefan then came running down the hall.

'Where is she?' Stefan demanded.

'Her body's in there.' I pointed to the room Lauren was in. 'Stefan she's dead, my poor little Lauren she's...'

'She's not dead.' Stefan interrupted me. I froze lost for words.

'But the doctors they said and they wouldn't make it up.'

'Yeah she's dead now but she'll wake up.'

'Stefan there is no need to joke about this.'

'I'm not.'

'People don't wake up once they die.'

'They do if they're going to wake up as a vampire.'

'Vampire? Are you joking.' I started to laugh but I could tell Stefan wasn't joking by the serious look on his face. I stopped laughing and seriously said 'vampires aren't real.'

'And your saying that to a vampire.' Stefan said. I froze again, lost for words again. I didn't want to believe him but I did.

'Y-your a vampire?' I asked. Stefan nodded his head. 'But Lauren, How?'

'When Lauren came to my house, my girl, my friend Elena attacked her. She only just become a vampire and she's getting used to it. Lauren was all freaked out so I compelled her to forget everything what happened at my house and fed her my blood.' Stefan explained.

'Compelled her? You fed her your blood?' I said shocked.

'Yeah, vampires can compel humans and I fed her my blood because vampire blood heals people from injuries but if somebody dies with it in there system then they will wake up as a vampire.' Stefan explained.

'How do you know that Lauren sit has your blood in her system?' I asked.

' How long was the accident after you came to my house?' Stefan wondered.

'It was about 4 hours after.' I told him.

'It takes about 24 hours for the blood to leave somebody's system.'

'So Lauren really is a vampire?' I asked.

'Yeah and she could wake up anytime soon. So we are going have to get her out of here because New born vampire in a hospital is not a good idea. I should know it happened to one of my friends.' Stefan said.

'You know, if somebody had told me that vampires were real a couple of days ago I would be really freaked out but now I'm actually really glad they exist.' I said. Stefan laughed.

'Well, I'll get her body you just go to my car, I will meet you out there.'

'How are you going to get her out?' I asked. I've being asking a lot of questions. Well I suppose anybody would wouldn't they if they had just found out that vampires are real.

'I'm a vampire, I have super speed and if anybody asks questions I can just compel them.' We both laughed and I went to Stefan's car whilst he got Lauren.
