Chapter 37

 Christina's POV

I woke up outside some kind of town hall or something. I got up of the ground and looked around to see some kind of meeting going on. It was the middle of the day, by the looks of things I was in Mystic Falls, but before it was even mystic falls. Everyone was dressed in extremly old clothing, I defiently was in 1108. I approached the gathering, or whatever it was to see Klaus standing at the front of everyone. No one can see me luckily. He was giving a speech about him been the most powerful person in the town. Everyone's attention turned to someone else, which angered Klaus. I made my way to the front of everyone to see what looked exactly like me but it must have been Cora.

''You really think that you are the most powerful in the town?'' She questioned him. ''Well, I beg to differ.''

''You think your more powerful?'' Klaus laughed. ''What's your name?''

''Cora Cimorelli.'' She simply said.

''Well Cora Cimorelli, I'm Klaus Mikaleson and I'm the leader of this town.'' He smirked, guesturing towards the crowd.

''Who says? You,'' She said quite sassily, this made everyone either laugh or gasp. By the looks of things, no one had ever stood up to Klaus. ''Because I think it's about time you have a new leader.'' Cora stood in front of Klaus and examined everyone infront of her. ''People of Beacon Falls-''

''What do you think you are doing?'' Klaus interupted her.

''Don't you think it is about time that you had a new leader?'' She continued, ignoring Klaus.

''They don't need a new leader, they are fine with the one they've got.'' Klaus stood in front of Cora.

''Maybe we should let the people to decide.'' Cora glanced back over at the people who were obsevering them both.

''I think we should have a competion to see who is a better leader.'' One guy shouted over everyone, most people nodded their heads in agreement. Klaus looked over at Cora who smirked at him, causing him to dead eye her. I think this is the start of Klaus hating Cora.

All of a sudden everything everyone dissapeared and the sky went dark, but then it turned light again and everyone reappeared, but it was a different day. Klaus and Cora were standing on opposite sides of the town hall, with everyone standing in between them again.

''So after the passed few days, hopefully you've all decided who you want to be the leader of the town,'' Cora said, not taking her eyes of Klaus. ''If you want me to be your leader then move over to my side, and if you want Klaus to continue to be your leader, then step over to his side,'' Straight away nearly every person went over to Cora's side, a few people went over to Klaus' side but not enough for him to win. This defiently angered Klaus. ''I guess it's settled then, I'm the new leader.''

Again, everything disappeared, but this time I ended up in some kind of house, at least I think it was. It was dark, with only candles lighting up the room, no one was here. I started to walk around, when I noticed some kind of spell book on the table. The page was open on some kind of power spell. The door then swung open and Klaus stormed in angrily. He noticed the spell book straight away and saw the spell. He then grabbed the book and threw it across the room in anger, but that's when Cora walked into the room.

''You used a spell to make everyone follow you!'' He shouted.

''No, I'm just a natrual leader.'' She smirked.

Klaus sped towards her and pushed her into the wall, griping her neck. Cora became angry, you could see it in her eyes. Klaus then let go of Cora and started to scream in pain, her anger caused him frustration but it was a lot worse than just that. He fell to the floor, holding his head.

''If you want to play dirty, then game on.'' She shouted before becoming happy again and walking out of the house.

Now this time I was transported to the middle of the town, it was what looked like a normal day in the 1108, everyone was in super old clothing, dress and suits but they didn't look anything like they do today. Everyone was getting on and chatting until Klaus walked down the street, everyone stopped whatever they were doing and looked towards him. Klaus ignored this and noticed Cora walking in his direction, he walked straight up to her.

''What have you done now?'' He asked angrily.

Cora didn't say anything, she just looked over at a man standing against some kind of shop and nodded. He then looked around at everyone else, giving them some kind of signal. Klaus looked confused, but once everyone started to walk towards him, he knew what was happening.

''You've turned them against me?'' He asked, slightly hurt. Klaus actually showed some kind of emotion, which surprised me.

''You're the one who wanted to play dirty.'' She told him before walking away, everyone continued to walk towards Klaus.''Can you not see what she has done to you? She's a witch and she's turned you all against me!'' Klaus tried to tell them all, but none of them listened. Klaus then sped out from them all before any of them could do anything.

This time I wasn't transported anywhere, I was confused as to what was happening but then I realised the crowd was running the way Klaus had gone, they must be going after him. I ran behind them all, none of them could see me which is good, jsut incase I trip over. Eventually we arrived at a huge house, which at the front had a sign reading 'The Miklaesons' This is Klaus' house. The gates were looked and people started to attempt to climb them, but no one could. Cora then appeared out of no where and used her magic to open the gates, everyone ran in with guns and knifes, some even had pitch torches, this was all a bit dramatic in my opinion. Cora then disappeared again, so I followed everyone else inside again.

No one could find Klaus, so I went of on my own. I found a book shelf in some kind of Libray room, I remembered in some movies, pulling a book makes some kind of secret door open. There was so many books though, so I tried loads and eventually the door opened, I made sure to close it behind me. I followed some kind of tunnel, which looked like the ones where the tomb is. It kept going on, so I decided to speed to the end of it, where I found Klaus and the rest of his siblings sitting around a table, plotting on who to destroy the Cimorelli's.
