Elena's POV

After I had woken up from my sleep, Stefan took me too see Matt in the hospital. When we got to his room I froze at the door. Stefan looked at me and nodded at me, signalling everything will be okay. I took a deep breathe and slowly approached his bed, where he lay on his side. I stopped next to him and tapped him, he then slowly rolled over.

''Elena, this is all my fault.'' Matt hugged me.

''Its not your fault, I told Stefan to safe you first.'' I told him.

''I know but it's all my fault, I was the one driving.'' He said letting go of me.

''No it was Rebekah's fault, if she wasn't been standing in the middle of the road...'' I tried to calm him down, because it really wasn't his fault.

''I will help you every step of the way.'' He hugged me again.

''Thank you.'' I whispered. The nurse then came into the room, holding a blood bag. My whole body suddenly turned towards the nurse, alls I could smell was the blood. Stefan and Matt both turned to me staring at me.

''Elena.'' Stefan said sternly. Matt grabbed my hand, I still stood there staring at the blood bag. All's I wanted to do was dive on the nurse and have that blood bag, then maybe her.

''Is everything ok?'' The nurse asked sweetly.

''Yes everything is fine.'' Matt said quickly. 'Now you best go see if any of your other patients are okay because I'm perfectly fine.'' He continued.

''No you're the last one.'' She smiled, looking proud of herself.

''We are leaving now, bye Matt.'' He then pulled me out of there, we just kept walking until we got out of the hospital, Stefan didn't even let go of me.

''If you drink blood, you will be like this forever.'' Stefan explained.

''But if I don't drink blood, I will die, wasn't that the point of the vampire blood being in my system so I wouldn't die?'' I questioned him, he knew I was right so he stood there in silence for a few seconds.

''I will find a way,'' He snapped back. ''I did last time.''

''I have no blood relatives that would be willing to die for me, apart from Jeremy and there is no way in hell he is dying for me.'' I said and walked off. Stefan then followed behind me.

Caroline's POV

Jeremy, Damon and I were all sitting at the dining table when Elena and Stefan came back to the house.

''Is he okay?'' I asked as I jumped up.

''Yeah he's fine.'' Stefan told us.

''What about you?'' I looked over at Elena.

''I'm fine.'' Elena said, but I knew she was lying.

''Elena don't worry, we will get through this.'' Jeremy hugged Elena.

''Get through this?'' Damon laughed.

'Damon.' I snapped, knew he was going to say something stupid next.

''It's simple you feed or you die.'' He continued and I was right.

''I'm going to feed.'' Elena tried to stay brave, we all knew it's not what she wanted.

''Well let's go fins a tasty human.'' Damon smirked.

''Damon.'' I snapped... again.

''She's drinking from a blood bag.'' Stefan told him.

''I'm going upstairs.'' Elena shook her head, she didn't want to talk about it.

''Damon and Caroline got get some blood bags.'' Stefan told us. Damon rolled his eyes and I nodded my head.

Elena's POV

My head was full, I couldn't think. I couldn't concentrate on one thing. My head was banging. All I could think about was blood and drinking it. I didn't want too but I know no one wants me to die, apart from Katherine but that's not the point, so I'm going have to drink it. I didn't want a blood bag, I wanted it fresh from a human. I mean I may as well considering I'm a vampire. I then heard Jeremy and Stefan coming up the stairs, I jumped out of my window and just kept running. I eventually stopped outside the grill. I could hear everyone's conversations inside, it was so strange. I fell back against the wall and sat down, put my head in my hands and started to cry.

A few minutes later a woman came out of the grill, she then paused and looked at me. ''Is everything okay?'' She asked.I jumped up and wiped my eyes.

''You seem nice,'' I took a deep breathe and compelled her. ''Leave before I kill you.'' The woman then ran away. Just after she had gone, a drunk man came put of the grill and pushed me against the wall.

"Nobody wants me, but I'll make you,' He tried to kiss me, so I slapped him around the face. ''You'll regret that.'' He laughed and then tried to punch me. I grabbed his hand and crushed it. He looked at me in shock. I felt the veins in my eyes pop out and the fangs come out. But I couldn't resist, I dug my teeth into his neck and started to drain the blood out of his body whilst listening to his screams.
