Chapter 9

Lisa's POV

I waited outside, next to Stefan's car. I was waiting for him to come with Lauren. I still couldn't believe it, vampires, they're real. But at this very moment, I was glad they were otherwise I'd never see Lauren again. Lauren, what is she going to think of all this? She's going to be so scared and upset. What am I going to do? My heads going to explode in a minute. I wish Stefan would hurry up.

Stefan then arrived a few minutes later. He was holding Lauren's body. He passed me his car keys and told me to unlock the car before somebody noticed we had Lauren's body with me. I unlocked the car and opened the back door, so Stefan could put Lauren in there. After Lauren was in the back, we drove to Stefan's house. All we had to do now was wait for Lauren to wake up.

Christina's POV

I had just been home to get some money, but I walked back to the hospital to clear my head. My birthday twin has gone. I'm never going to see her again. I'm just praying for a miracle. I was on my way back to the hospital to Lisa. I walked past the front desk and went to the lift. When the door opened there was a man in there. He was cute. He had dark hair and blue eyes and he was quite tall.

"What floor are you going to?" He asked.

"Four." I replied and he pressed the 4th floor button. There was then an awkward silence.

"So why are you here?" I asked him to break the awkward silence.

"Just to pick up a few things for my friend and brother." He said.

"How come they were here?" I asked.

"Because my friend and her friend were in a car and there was somebody in the middle of the road, and they were on a bridge. So I bet you guess the rest." He told me.

"I'm so sorry, are they alright?" I asked.

"You sure do ask a lot of questions," We both laughed. "Yeah, there both fine."

"Well that's good."

"So, why are you here?" He asked. I looked to the floor and a smaller tear ran down my face. "I'm sorry, it doesn't matter."

"No it's, it's fine. My sister was killed in a hit and run. Her body's still here. Me and my other sister don't want to leave her."

"I'm very sorry for your lose."

"Thanks."

"So is your sister on her own now?" He wondered.

"No, she's with Lisa."

"Lisa?' I nodded my head. 'Cimorelli?"

"Yeah, how do you know?"

"Which sister got ran over?"

"Lauren."

"Lauren? I know Lauren."

"You do?"

"Yeah. Well if you're sisters with two Cimorellis then that makes you one too." He said smartly

"Obviously." I muttered.

"That means you know my brother." He said.

"I do?"

"Yeah, Stefan."

"Salvatore?" I wondered.

"Yeah, I'm Damon Salvatore." He put his hand out for me to shake, which I did.

"I'm Christina... Cimorelli." The doors then opened on the 4th floor."It was nice to meet you." I said.

"You too." Damon said sweetly. I then walked out of the lift and the doors closed. I then turned the corner and saw the door to Lauren's room wide open. I then ran into the room and she wasn't there. My heart sank. We lost my sister. How can we lose a dead body? I then noticed that Lisa had gone too.

The nurse then entered the room and asked "Is everything ok?"

"M-my sisters, she's, she's gone." I said worried.

"Your sister?" The nurse wondered.

"Yeah, Lauren Cimorelli." I told her.

"No Lauren Cimorelli has been in this room sorry but I can go and check I'd you want me to." I nodded and the nurse walked out of the room.

Stefan's POV

Lisa and I had arrived at my house. I then carried Lauren into the house and Lisa followed behind. 'I'll just put her on the sofa.' I told Lisa. She nodded at me.

'So what's it like being a vampire?' Lisa asked.

'Well it can be quite good but it can be bad.' I told her.

'Whys it good?'

' The speed, the strength, the sight, the hearing.' I explained.

'What about the bad things?' Lisa said with a worried tone. I could tell she was worried about Lauren but I think she is happy that she isn't dead. Well you know what I mean.

'Lisa we don't need to get into that now.'

'Why not?'

'I'll explain everything when Lauren wakes up.' I told her. 'Don't worry she will be fine.' Lisa smiled at me. 'So do you want a drink or anything to eat?' I asked her.

'No I'm fine thanks.' She said sweetly.

It was all quite but suddenly Lauren gasped for air and sat straight up. Immediately Lisa ran to sit next to her. Lisa hugged Lauren very tight. 'Lauren are you ok?' Lisa asked Lauren finally letting go of her.

'W-what happened. The last thing I remember I was outside getting some air and then I'm just blank.' Lauren said confused.

'Lauren, look at me.' Lisa put her hands on Lauren's shoulders. 'Listen to everything Stefan says and I promise on all our family's life's that he is telling the truth.' Lauren then nodded and looked straight at me with a very curious look on her face.

I walked up to Lauren and knelt down next to her. 'Lauren, like Lisa said I am telling you the truth.'

'Go on then.' She demanded.

'You died.' I said. I didn't know what else to say. She's only 14.

'Well if I died then why am I here now?' She asked.

'Because, you had my blood in your body when you died.'

'And that makes any difference how?' I looked at Lisa and she nodded her head at me.

'I'm a vampire.' I muttered.

Lauren jumped up and shouted 'Vampire! Vampires aren't real.'

'Well Stefan's a vampire.' Lisa butted in.

'And so are you.' I said.

Lauren froze. She then started pacing up and down the room. She then stops and says 'How did I die?'

'A hit and run.' Lisa says.

'I need to go home.' Lauren snaps.

'You can't. You going have to stay here for a couple of weeks to get used to being a vampire.' I explained.

'I'll go sneak some of your stuff and bring it here.' Lisa said and then she  left.

'Don't worry Lauren I will help you get through this.' I said smiling at Lauren.
