The Advanced Mission

I said YES!!!

A week after Gideon's surgery, I was sitting at a table with my dinner getting ready to take a bite when Ilona ran over and sat down next to me.

"Hi..." I said.

"Hello." she said while grinning.

"Why are you smiling like that?" I asked while taking a bite out of my sandwich.

"I don't know!" she said.

"Ok..."

I went back to eating my sandwich, then Joker came running over with his food and sat on the other side of me.

"Hey!" he said smiling as well.

"Hi..." I said.

I was very confused. I didn't know why they were just staring at me while giving me an evil grin.

"So, what's up with the staring at me and giving me a creepy smile?" I asked.

"Um.... I don't know?" Ilona said.

I then looked over and saw Gideon walking over to the table.

"Get up fucker!" he said to Joker.

"Uh oh, somebody's mad! Why you mad?" Joker asked.

Gideon then picked up Joker by the shirt collar and said, "You shut the bloody hell up!" He then sat down next to me and looked over at Ilona. She was also giving him an evil grin.

"Hi Gideon!" she said.

"What's up with the fucked up face?" he asked.

"I'm just smiling."

"Why?"

"I don't know?"

"So..." Joker said.

"So..." I said.

"Are you two dating?" Ilona asked.

My face started burning when she asked that question. I looked over at Gideon and he looked at me.

"It's pretty obvious that you two are dating!" Joker said loudly.

"Shut up! Don't be telling anybody else! Just not yet." Gideon said.

After I had finished my dinner I went to the shooting range to burn off some energy. When I was finished with round one, somebody had came in the range but I didn't see them. I was too busy shooting the targets. The person was now right behind me and they grabbed me by the hips, spun me around and kissed me. It was Gideon. He then looked into my eyes. God his eyes were just like looking into an ice storm.

"Hi..." he said while letting me go and grabbing a weapon.

"Hi." I said.

He then came back with a Bal-27 with a hybrid sight. He took the station next to mine. We were probably at the range for at least an hour or two. I then put down my AK-12 and looked over at Gideon. He was still shooting his weapon. I then went and put my gun back on the rack. Gideon had then finished and also put his weapon back. He came back over to me and grabbed my hands.

"Hey, I know we haven't really been dating for a while but, I want to ask you something..." he said.

I was kind of confused at first but when he got down on one knee, I started crying tears of joy.

"Jack, will you marry me?" he asked.

"..........Yes..." I said while hugging him tightly.

I was so happy! I can't believe it, I'm getting married!!!
