Nearly four hours are over and no one's said a word. I'm hungry, but I'm not admitting. Ethan is the one who's going to apologize to me first. I'm real stubborn and I know it, I've had experience with Olivia.
"Fine. You win, Emily. I'm sorry if I gave you a cold shoulder but now, just talk!?" he suddenly says. I smirk and thankfully he doesn't see it. "Good, now, that I've won, let's go stop by a hotel?" I ask.
"Nah, I think I'm going to drive-- the whole night." He states. Is he alright? "Sure about that?" I ask. He nods. I try to search for a restaurant, and I find just the one. I quickly go into McDonald's drive-through and pick up some burgers and fries and nuggets and soda, of course.
Five minutes after that, I pull over on the road and exchange places with Ethan, as he's just finished dinner. I begin to literally gobble up the burger and eat the fries in a hurry. I sip through the straw, nothing's coming. I open the lid of the drink and just then the car goes over a speed breaker, and a bit of soda is spilled on the hem of my shirt. I groan.
"Can you pull over for a second?" I ask. He huffs and pulls over. I jump out of the car and to the back. I need to change my shirt... but where? We're surrounded by trees and plants and that's it. Wait, trees? I could maybe hide behind them? I think I'll do that.
I opened the boot of the car and unlocked my suitcase and quickly got a fresh shirt and ran away from the car, from everyone's view and hid behind trees. Thank you nature. I changed quickly and I was about to walk away, when I felt something crawl over my foot. I looked down.
"AH!" I jumped up, a giant spider was on my foot. The spider fell down and looked more scared than I was. I ran for my life and jumped back into the car, shivering. "What happened?" Ethan asks, looking alarmed.
"A-a-a s-sp-p-ider!" I stutter. "Spider?" He snorts. "Spider?!" he mocks and bursts into fits of laughter. "If I had just recorded this! I would have gotten a billion views on the Internet." he says teasing me. "Ha. Ha." I say sarcastically, coming back to my senses. With the dirty shirt still in my grip, I jump out of the car, put the shirt in the boot, close my suitcase and close the boot and Ethan hits the accelerator.
"HEY!" I scream at the top of my lungs. "Wait for me!" I run behind but he just speeds. I sigh and sit on the roadside, acting childish. Sure enough, Ethan reverses back to my spot and I jump into the car and he speeds again.
"No. You're not speeding in my car. I don't want to get into trouble with the police." I say in a voice which scares my younger sister. Immediately, he slows down and goes at the normal speed and makes the convertible hood, actually cover us. I don't mind it. I'll be safer now as if it rains, I will be safe.
And just like this, the trip, continued, on and on and on.

"Can you go to sleep and stop analyzing me like a hawk? I'm not going to zip down the road..." Ethan reassures me. I sigh and lie down.
Two more days. Just two! Even though his trip to New York is getting more boring every hour, I think, sleeping is the only thing you can do and as it is, the most your conversation with Ethan can reach to is, "So which apps are on your phone?" So yes, it's very boring. I'd rather listen to a talking parrot than him. No, no, no, no. Calling him worse than a parrot is an insult to the parrot. He's much worse.
I smile at my own joke, and fall into a slumber.
My eyes flutter open as I hear the shower on in the washroom. I look around dreamily. Why am I in a hotel room?
Wait, what!? How did I reach here? I don't even remember. I'm comfortably rolled up in the hotel's bed. I look at Ethan's bed, he must be in the shower.
