I stepped out of Bookie's car just to drop my jaw. I looked at the party, it looked like... I can't even... explain! It was so... beautifully done up!

I looked at Ethan, trying hard to get out of the car without raising his skirt. I gave him my hand, "Come on, sissy." I smile. "Very funny." he says through gritted teeth.

"I'll just park this car and come, okay? Wait for me," Bookie adds, grinning widely.

Maya and I walk away from the car, to the entrance of the 'party'. I look at Ethan, sorry, Maya who's busy staring at the decorations.

"Excuse me, who are you?" somebody pops up, asking Maya. "Maya. Maya Hollister." Ethan says in a terrible accent. But the girl, doesn't suspect him at all, and nods and walks away.

"Yes!" Ethan smiles. "You gotta be more careful and act natural." I instruct, with a fake smile.

"Yes, general." Ethan mocks. I roll my eyes for the billionth time.

"Fellas." I hear the smooth voice of Bookie, who comes up, and holds both of our hands, and acts totally girly. "They have a live band!" she squeals and pulls us. Ethan and I exchange a look and then he starts grinning and I too.

We go on the dance floor and awkwardly dance. The song turns to Cheerleader and many more people come down on the floor. Soon enough, I hear a very familiar voice, which makes me stop immediately.

"Attention. Attention." Olivia, slash Tess, announces from the stage. Everybody goes and takes a seat.

I look at her suspiciously. Ethan nudges me, and I look away from Tess.

"So... I thank you all for coming and attending this party. I want to make one thing clear. I'm really sorry for hurting all the people I did. I never actually wanted this. I know everybody is having a hard time, especially my family." I cringe at the word, 'family.'

"But, thanks guys for a great time. Have fun ya'll." She ends in a goofy southern accent and everybody claps. I don't know for what.

"Hey, Emily. Snap out of it. Don't get sentimental now." Bookie warns. I nod. "Anyways, now that we're here, let's eat some stuff and enjoy ourselves?"

I nod, and Bookie gets up, Ethan just looks at me, guilt creeping in his eyes. I feel bad. But, I can't lose control of my emotions, right now. I wipe my eyes. I get up. "Come with me, Maya, will you?" I say, my voice cracking a bit. He nods immediately and gets up following me suit. We go to the buffet section and fill up our plates.

After we finish our food, Bookie gets up and stretches. "It's already late. Can I sleep at your place? I'll tell my parents." she exclaims. "Sure." I say, and give her a reassuring smile.

"But what about me?" Ethan adds in, frowning.

"What about you, sweetheart?" Bookie asks, sarcasm lapping every word she utters. I smirk.

"Don't use that on me, girl." Ethan says in a girly voice, acting like a total drama queen. Then he smiles and continues, "I'm acting as a girl. Right now. You told your father, Ethan's away. And you told your mom secretly that I'm out for a day. So I'm a girl, and if I sleep in another room, they're gonna think that-" he's cut off by Bookie laughing.

"Look, here's a perv, Em." she says, choking and laughing. "What the heck, man? I'm not that!" Ethan exclaims angrily.

Right now, maybe everyone will be thinking that Bookie's a rude, mean, psycho kid who might be a serial killer at night, but hey! It's not that, once you're friends with her, she's the coolest kid in town.

"Fine, relax." I tell Ethan, smiling. He's definitely not one.

"We'll basically tell my dad, Maya went away and Ethan's back!" I explain. "You guys can't even solve this?" I ask, mocking them,

Ah, the sleepover was fun. Ethan is asleep in his room. I am cuddled up with my blankets in my bed, and Bookie is sleeping on the couch in the living room, she found it surprisingly comfy.

I am about to get up when Ethan barges through the door, panicking.

"What happened?" I ask, lazily.

"Bookie's not here." he states, looking at me like a deer in headlights.

"What? That's not even possible!" I say jumping off my bed and running down to the living room.

I remove my phone from my pocket, and check my notifications, there are no notifications from Bookie. I ring her number.

The phone buzzes from the couch. I jump on the couch and fetch her phone out, what? Looks like she was just picked up without any fight. Surprising.

I get up, acting calm, but the anger boils through me.

Because, this is my fault and I know this is Tess's game. But the main thing is, whether Bookie is safe and where the hell is she?

I clench my fists and growl out loud.

Bookie's POV

I open my eyes, groggily. My head pains so bad. Why is it so goddamn dark here? Is this a prank?

I look around and realize. This. Is. Not. Emily's. House.

"WHERE AM I?" I scream at the top of my lungs. Someone runs in and looks at me and switches on the lights and rushes out of the room.

I'm in a room, in a really comfortable bed. In a really nice, big bedroom with a television.

Someone walks in, and I look at the face in utter terror.
