YO!
If this chapter feels weird, that's me too. But hey, I was bored!
~~~I walk back to my dorm, sleepily.
Yawning, I run my hands through my hair. I allow my hair to fall freely.
Just then I am pulled backwards, a cloth wrapped on my face, so I can't scream. I struggle to break free, but I'm being held by three unfamiliar people.
I feel myself being slammed against something hard, probably the wall. Then the cloth-bag is removed. My eyes take a second to focus and I look at the three boys who yesterday threw ketchup at me. I look around, I'm in a dark alley, where there's no soul.
"Josh, you wanna take it?" one guy asks Josh, who I slapped across the face. Then Josh nods and smirks and steps in front of me, leaning, as if trying to stop me from running away.
"So, you feisty Emily, what's up?" he asks, still smirking, while the other lackeys friends of his, hang around, keeping watch.
"What cat got your tongue?" Josh asks, inches away from my face. Breathing down on me.
"No," I say confidently. "Why have you got me here?" I ask.
"To teach you a lesson of course." he mumbles and smiles.
"And what is the 'lesson', anyways?" I ask. "She already wants it," Josh tells his friends and they smirk. And then take my two arms, slamming me into the wall once again.
Josh, cracks his knuckle. Realisation hits me.
"No! LEAVE ME! HELP!" I scream, on top of my lungs. But then, Josh brings one of his fists up in the air, I close my eyes and wait for the impact but it never come. I open my eyes to see he is pulled by the collar off me and dropped on the floor. Automatically, the lackeys drop me to the floor, where I push my face into my palm, crying.
I hear groaning and a tap on my shoulder. Maybe whoever was the brave hero, got knocked out. I lifted my head to see Ethan. Not knowing what to do, I just gave him a hug and cried into his shirt.
"Thank you, thank you," I say mumbling into his shirt. He doesn't say anything, he just stands frozen at the same place.
"I'll drop you back at your dorm." he says, seriously. I look at him, but he turns around and and starts to walk away.
"Coming or not?" he asks, his voice deep and husky. I feel uncomfortable. I just stop, and look at my feet. "I'll stay here," I say softly. I know it's stupid but this time, he's not acting like himself.
He almost laughs, "I'll leave you here, after what these boys would have done? You got to be kidding me." He says stepping forward. I step backward.
"Why are you doing this to me?" I ask, almost about to break down.
"What?" he asks.
"First you tease me, then you help me, then you befriend me, then you become awkward with me. What is it with you?" I tell him.
"You, won't get it," he stammers. "And I'm not leaving you here, alone." he says more confidently."I will understand, I surely will, you can trust me." I say, sniffing.
He inches towards me, breathing heavily, I step backward and my palms hit the wall. I'm cornered. Probably seeing the worried look on my face, his eyes flush out in color.
"Forget it," he mumbles, and backs off. He walks away from me.
I straighten my shirt out and look at the Josh and the lackeys knocked out.
