"Finally it got over!" Mandy screams while putting on her heels. "I feel you," I say, while adjusting my dress, "Examinations are a pain in the butt," I say and laugh. "Yo girls!" May knocks at our door, I hurry to the door.

"Ready you guys?" May asks, "Uh-huh." I say and May and I look at Mandy impatiently. "What?!" Mandy barks as May and I break into fits of laughter. But then it's stopped as two pillows hit us. We both lift our heads and give Mandy a death glare. "You know what we'll do right?" May asks, smirking at me. I nod.

"Oh no, oh no, don't you dare come close to me," Mandy says and runs into the closet. Instead of running at her, May and I high-five each other. "YOLO, Mandy," May says, trying hard not to laugh and we walk out. "Oh, man..." Mandy says and comes out and trails behind us.

"So where's the party?" I ask, casually. "In some dude's house, like five blocks away...?" May says, "I'll drive, though. I know the place." May confirms. "No problem with me," Mandy speaks up.

We enter the 'dude's' house and music blares into my ears. People stand, leaning against either the staircase, wall or the doors. May pulls me through, I see kids drinking. I sigh. I don't think I'll get into it any time soon. Maybe, never, in fact. May leaves me when we enter the backyard. People are dancing, as if there is a dance floor there.

May and I lean against a tree, waiting for apparently, something exciting to pop up in our minds. Some guy, walks up to May, "May I have a dance?" he asks and I look at May who's blushing. Furiously. "See you later, Emily," she giggles. I just roll my eyes and smile. How awkward does it get for me?

My eyes travel around the backyard and drop at a cute looking guy staring at me. I just stare back, my lips curling into a smile. The guy, who leans against a wall, runs his fingers through his hair and walks up to me, "Wanna dance?" he asks, and I nod, smiling. At first, I would cringe at the thought of this, but now it doesn't look that bad. He puts his hand out and I slip mine in his, we go and pass the people dancing and in the center of the floor, we begin dancing.

"I'm Sam," the boy says and smiles. "Emily," I reply. Sam nods, smirking too. I am about to say something but I'm cut off as a romantic song comes on, and Sam puts his hand on my back, preparing to do a waltz. I panic, as I don't know it. But, after seeing what Sam does, I get it.

After twenty minutes of waltzing, he pulls me to the side, near the tree side. "I'll get you a drink, stay right here," Sam says and walks off. I see Ethan standing there, staring at me and smirking. I raise an eyebrow. Then Sam comes up, "Dammit, what happened?" he asks. "Ah... Nothing much," I say, "An old story," I say smiling, trying to cover up. "Okay," Sam shakes his head and hands me my drink.

I take a sip, it burns through my throat. Oops. I forgot to tell him I don't drink alcohol.

"Hey, Sam, look is that someone looking for you?" I say, pointing at the crowd, Sam jerks his head in the direction. This is my chance, I tilt the plastic cup and allow the liquid to fall and seep into the grass and the soil. He's about to turn around, and at that time, I press the plastic cup to my mouth, acting as if I finished it.

"Ah!" Sam says grinning at me. Wait, why is he grinning? Does he know I threw the alcohol or what?

"You finished it already?" he smirks, and takes the cup from me. "I'll get you some more...?" he says. "No, no thanks, don't take the trouble, Sam!" I say and try to stop him. "That just means you want more!" he says and grins at me.

Sam has finally got me drunk, I do not know how. I slur around the room and rest my hand on Sam's shoulder, "Oh man, why did you give me so many drinks?" I say and smile- when I didn't want to. "Uh... I don't know!" he says, smiling. "I think that was stupid... I'm just going to the washroom..." he mumbles, "I feel like I'm gonna throw up." he says and runs to the washroom. It's about two in the morning and people still trudge along the house.
