Just as I come out, I notice that Mr. Irritating is missing. Must have gotten bored. I suppose. I walk to my table and notice that my laptop is still running.

Oh no. I flip my laptop open, he has seen the sight. This is my mistake. He will be thinking because of him, I'm transferring to an apartment...? I quickly shove the laptop into my backpack and run out.

I hear an engine roar and see Ethan's car drive out. "Oh shit, before he spreads this..." I curse myself under my breath and rush into my car, chasing Ethan's car.

I park my car and run to the dorm. As fast as I can.

I see Ethan. I hold him back. "Wait. Ethan. You don't get it," I at as reassuringly as I can. "I do get it," he sneers. "I'm not leaving you guys, it's for my Aunt... Not kidding," I lie. I have to.

He suddenly calms down and I drop him to the floor. "Never think that again," I bark at him.

I walk down the corridor, casually, I turn right and I see Sam, smirking there. "What was that?" He asks. "Nothing?" I say.

"Are you kidding me?!" Sam exclaims happily, "You just slammed that guy... Ethan's butt!" He says, joyfully. What are they rivals or something?

"Hardy har har," I say, truly not knowing how to react. "Wanna go anywhere?" He asks, holding his hands together hopefully.

"Are you asking me out?" I grin.

"Uh... Kinda?" He says back, smiling but he's tense.

"Where?" I ask and automatically he sighs in relief.

"The theatre at six, new movie..." He says, winking at me.

Ethan's POV

I make a note on my phone,

'Theatre at six.'

I'm not a creep, but this dude doesn't give me a good vibe. At all.

At three in the afternoon,

I've followed Sam to his dorm room, and I'm listening to him, intently.

I see a girl knock on the door, and it clicks open, "Sammy? I'm here!" The girl calls out. "Oh hi, babe!" He replies. Wait, what?

He has a girlfriend? I pull my phone out and snap a picture of the girl and him talking.

"Who's on the phone?" The girl asks.

"Ah... Business," Sam smiles smugly.

The girl looks at him in disgust, "That shit again? Tricking that other girl...? What's her name... Emily?" She asks.

"But I like you, not her anyways. It's just that it's for money." He replies. Immediately, I run to my dorm, trying to process what happened.

I sit on my bed thinking, whoever is paying him is the key to Emily's missing sister.

I see the clock, three hours till the supposed date.

Emily's POV

I am so very excited that Ethan isn't butting in any more and that I have just earned myself a date!

I look at myself once, in the mirror.
Calm down, Emily. Nothing is going to go wrong. I think to myself. He likes me, I like him too.

"You look stunning!" Sam says, smiling. I smile back, "You don't look bad yourself," I say. We both go to the theatre and watch the movie.

It was quite good and everything, "So... I don't think you'll be that hungry, now, Emily?" I shake my head and smile.
