The Truth

"I think someone needs a drink" Raf smiles as he pulls away from Cara who is clearly upset after her break up with her husband Jed.

"Yeah, I'm sorry, I can't stay too long" she smiles as she links arms with Raf, she smiles at him and they head out the hospital together.

Raf gets the firsts round of drinks in for him a Cara, he had never seen Cara so worried and upset like that, especially when she broke down in his arms like that. "Your finally free, your a free woman" Raf pipes up as he takes a sip of her beer.

"Yeah sort of" Cara smiles nervously, she looks down at her phone and smiles, "this will have to be my last drink, I don't want to go home drunk to-" Cara cuts herself off when reality kicks in.

Raf nods and says "do you want me to walk you home?" He questions with a friendly reassuring smile on his face

"No, No I have to pop back into the hospital for something" Cara smiles as she finished her second drink of the night off.

He also finished his drink off and says "I will wait for you then" he smiles as they both get up.

"It's a kind offer Raf but I'm fine" she smiles nervously as she gets up rather quickly and stumbles against Raf, he catches her and laughs.

Raf looks down at Cara in his arms "steady on there" he laughs as they both fall into silence, They both don't know what to do but Raf makes the first move and leans in and kisses her.

His lips clash with Cara's and she suddenly pushes him away, "Raf! What are you playing at!" She shouts as she wipes her lips.

"I..erm... Thought you... Err" Raf stutters as he flushes bright red with embarrassment.

She looks at him in shock "No I bloody well didn't" she says as she starts to walk away, Raf follows her outside of the pub and apologies to her, "look Raf your a kind and caring man but yeah I'm way out of your league" she smiles.

"Sorry I got the wrong signals" he smiles awkwardly and he looks down at the petite nurse.

"Good night Mr Di Lucca" Cara smiles as she walks away.

"Good Night" Raf says as he watches her walk away before turning and heading in the other direction.

Cara makes her way into the hospital she couldn't get over Raf kissing her, 'he's had one to many to drink, he didn't mean it' Cara keeps saying to herself as she reaches the hospital entrance where she walks towards a different corridor which doesn't lead to the wards.

She heads to the nursery and gives a heavy sigh before entering, it was the only secret she had left which is worthy of keeping a secret now.
