Ward distractions

Cara makes her way onto the ward, she has just had a rough night with Ella, "Mornig Cara" fletch smiles as he watches the young nurse tie her hair up.
She yawns and sits down "rough night?" Fletch questions unaware of Cara's daughter.

"Yeah, neighbours had some sort of crazy party" Cara smiles as she logs onto the staff computer.

Just as she logs on Raf walks onto the ward and smiles at her, Cara smiles back.
"Morning Nurse" he smiles as he yawns.

"Your neighbours have a crazy party too?" Fletch laughs as both Cara and Raf are tired.

Raf raises an eyebrow them shakes his head, "just trouble sleeping" he smiles nervously.
Cara goes to work and is soon joined by Raf, "was Ella alright this morning?" He questions.

"Yeah why?" Cara questions curiously as she takes a patients bloods.

"I don't know she seemed grizzly" Raf says as he isn't sure of Ella hair yet.

Cara laughs "Mr Di Lucca I think I know my daughter very well, she's always grizzly in a morning, she hates waking up just like me. Anyway she's just shaking off a cold so she isn't more irritable at the moment" Cara smiles as she finishes the bloods and takes the patients temperature.

Raf yawns again and the patient looks up at him concerned, "I hope your alert enough to do this operation" the male patient says.

"Yes why wouldn't I be?" Raf says curiously.

"Your yawning like there's no tomorrow" he says as Cara walks off, "and anyway I don't want that nurse to be in there either" the patient demands.

Raf raises an eyebrow "why an earth not?" He says as he looks over at Cara , who is about to send the bloods off.

"Because all your done while you and her have been seeing to me is flirt" he says as he looks up at Raf.  "See you can't even take your eyes off her now, did I mention she's way out of your league? She's like young enough to be your daughter" he says which starts to get Raf a little annoyed.

"Mr Daniels, Nurse Martinez is an excellent nurse-" he is cut off by Mr Daniels again.

"Yes you would say that because you fancy her! Now tell me how many times have you done it in the store cupboard or locker room? I've seen these medical dramas you know" Mr Daniels says as Raf rolls his eyes again.

He looks at his charts "I'm not allowed to discuss my private life so if you would kindly stop making remarks, and for your information Mr Daniels, she has a daughter that isn't mine use your brain" Raf says as he puts the charts down and goes over to the nursing station.

"What's up with you?" Cara questions curiously as she hands with Morven.

Raf huffs and sits down "if I had a pound for every time a patient this week has referred to a medical drama on to, I swear to go I will be a millionaire" he laughs as he logs into the computer.

"Which medical drama this time? Manor Hospital or ER ? Oh or even that new one... MAU?" Cara laughs.

He looks up and rolls his eyes "you have too much spare time" he jokes and Cara frowns a little before realising he's joking.

"ER" Raf mumbles as he bites his pen and reads through his emails.

Cara sniggers to herself and then starts to laugh out loud, "oh well I would be slightly worried if they started referring to Silent Witness or The Coroner" Cara laughs hysterically and Morven starts to giggle too.

"Well they would wouldn't they in the mortuary" Morven giggles and Cara is doubled over crying with laughter.
Raf rolls his eyes at the junior doctor and the nurse and carries on reading.
