"So hold on a second... You have a nine month old daughter, how come you never told us?" Raf questions as he sits Cara down in the cafe and hands her a cup of coffee.

Cara looks down and thinks for a moment "because there was no need to" She mutters as it is the truth.

"You should of told us, have you been struggling?" Raf says as he looks at Cara who is looking down at her daughter.

Cara doesn't say anything, she has been struggling, she had made out t everyone on the ward that her husband, Jed, had been working on the rigs and had no time when in fact her was undercover.
"Cara are you going to tell me? Have you though?" He questions again.
Cara bites her lip and continues to look down at her daughter.

She starts to cry and she slowly nods, "she's such hard work, I have to provide for her, I have to pay rent, I have to get into work on time and nursery fees" she says ever so quickly.

"Oh Cara I'm sorry" Raf says as he gets up and sits next to Cara, he puts his arm around her and gives her a friendly smile. "So does this little one have a name?" Raf questions as he looks down at her nine month old daughter sitting contently on her lap.

Cara nods and continues to cry, she wipes away her tears with her free hand and takes a deep breath in, "Ella" she smiles as she kisses Ella on the head, "Well she was born Ella-Marie, but I prefer Ella" she smiles.

"Oh so she smiles" Raf teases as he sees a smile building on Cara's face, "so where is Jed with all of this?" Raf questions carefully as he knows Jed is a sore subject.

Cara hesitates "He doesn't know... Well he does but... Never mind it's a long story full of lies" she sighs as she stands up. "I better be going Ella isn't very well and well I'm rushed off my feet as it is" she says as she gets up she knocks her bag over and Raf picks it up for her and at the same time sees a letter two letters.
His mouth drops open the first one he glanced at said 'final notice' and the second one he got more time to read as Cara is sorting Ella, the second one was calling Cara to court over Ella as Jed wants fully custody of Ella.

"Cara what's going on?" Raf says as he hands her the letters and her back.

Cara's mouth drops open "you can't read them they are private, what gives you the right?" She says angrily.

"Cara I'm worried about you" he smiles as he puts his hand on her should, Cara can't even look at Raf at this point as she is so scared.

She laughs nervously and holds Ella against her hip, "don't worry about me I have it all under control" she smiles as finally Cara cracks and she starts to cry.

"Wait here a minute and I will take you home" Raf says as he touches her arm in a friendly way.

She shakes her head "you can't" she says, "the house doesn't belong to me it's in Jed's name and it's only rental, Jed's gone back and well I'm not there I'm... I'm staying in a hotel until I find somewhere" she whispers shamefully.

Raf can't believe what Cara has just told him "what! Why are you staying there?" He says as he starts to worry even more about Cara.

"I don't have anywhere else" she murmurs as she can't believe she is telling someone who hardly knows anything about her private life.

Raf thinks to himself for a while "well... You could come and stop with me, I mean I do have the room and I could do with the company" Raf suggests and Cara looks at him a small smile appears on her face.

"Are you sure?" Cara says as she looks at Ella who has her head rested against Cara's shoulder and is slowly dozing off to sleep. "I mean I would have to barge in on your life" Cara adds as she starts to warm to the idea.

"Seriously Cara I don't mind" he smiles as he touches her arm again lightly.

"I mean Ella is forever waking me up at night so I apologise about your sleep pattern" she giggles as she cuddles Ella.

Raf laughs and tells her it will be fine and that he is going to go and get changed and he will be back down.
