Hinata's POV
I walked into the cafe and sat down.
"Can I get you anything ma'am?" A red head asked.
"Um... A Vanilla Milk Bubble Tea. Thanks."
"Sure."
My eyes darted around the cafe for any blonde haired men. My hands shook uncontrollably.
"Here ya go. Pay at the counter when you leave." She smiled.
"Y-yeah... Thanks."
I slurped the delicious treat and then choked a little because I was so tense.
I shouldn't be here... I should leave. I'll say that I got tied up at work... Yeah... I'll leave.
I held my head in my hands and tears of frustration escaped my eyes. Every muscle in my body was tensed.
Why am I so nervous!? I've ate with him, walked with him... Hugged him... Kissed him.... Layed with him.... Almost went all the way with him... Yeah... I have good reasons to be nervous.
Then... My left shoulder felt incredible warmth and I snapped my head up. I quickly wiped the tears from my eyes so he wouldn't see.
"Naruto...."
"Sasuke said you wanted to meet me. So I'm here, Hinata. I'll do anything you ask... Anything..." He smiled and sat opposite from me.
"Can I get you anything Sir?" The same lady came up.
"Um... A Chocolate Milk Bubble Tea." He replied.
She nodded and walked away then returned minutes later with his order.
"Soooooo..... You're getting married?" He looked down at his drink.
All at once my emotions hit me but I stayed completely still in shock. It was like when I first met Naruto... Blushing, stuttering, and not able to make eye contact. I'm surprised at myself because that's what I've been working on the past six years, my confidence.
"Hinata? Are you ok? "
"Y- yeah... I--I'm fine."
He seemed completely calm. Like we were friends again. Did he think I don't love him anymore?
"You're getting married right?"
"W-well... I s--su-- suppose so. What's n-new w-with you?" I managed to get out.
"Not really. I mean.. I dated this girl about a year after you left but it didn't work. How's Sakura? Sasuke begged me to ask." He flashed his beautiful smile at me, while turning a light pink.
"Sh-- she's ok. She's a-a s--surgeon now... A--and I'm a-a bi--biomedical r--researcher. I kn--know w-what you do... What a--about--"
"Sasuke is a chef now. He works at the hotel. So what did you want me here for?" He looked straight at me.
What the hell do I say? Son of a f-
"Actually I don't know. " my stuttering stopped.
"Oh... Do you wanna get out of here?" He smiled.
"Sure."
We walked to the counter with distance between us. He went to grab his wallet but I grasped his wrist. He looked at me and I quickly released it.
"I'll pay. Tomorrow's your birthday... My present."
I walked in front of him and payed the bill for our tea.
