It has been 3 weeks since Mr. Creeper crawled into my room and left the note. And so far, everything has been calm. Every night since, we’ve only had one or two vampires. This makes me uncomfortable. And it means, he’s probably going to send a large group, when I least expect it!

Epp! I am so freaking out right now. I mean why he can’t just send, more, big vampires now, instead of not sending any and freaking me out! Ugh, I hate him.

“Hayden, oh Hayden, you in there?” Karma asked waving a hand in front of my face.

“Hmmm,” I mumbled. Not really paying attention. I was in auto-mode. My body’s there but my brain was freaking out.

“Hay, are you okay?” Gemma asked.

“What? Yeah, I’m fine,” I said, still not paying attention.

“Hayden? Are you sure? You’ve been acting strange for a couple weeks now,” Dakota said worried.

“No, really I’m fine. I’m just stressing about Halloween and the dance,” I said forcing a smile at them.

“Oh. Have you asked anyone to the dance yet? You know it’s this Friday, right?” Dakota asked. Totally buying that, that was why I was worried.

“Um, no I wasn’t planning on asking anyone,” I answered.

In all honesty, I hadn’t thought about the dance until I needed it as an excuse. And now that I think about it, All Hallows Eve is Friday and today was Monday. Crap! All Hallows Eve is the most active day for vampires!!! Shot, shot, shot!

“Did you hear me?” Gemma asked snapping me out of my inner mind freak out.

“I’m sorry no, what did you say?” I asked shaking my head of other thoughts.

“I said, you should ask Wyatt Blake. He’s totally into you,” she said smiling.

Ew. Wyatt Blake. Quarter back of this fine Hell, and is one of the biggest perverts in the school, no city, no probably the whole world! There was no way in Heaven I was going to go with him!

“Gemma, that is the grosses thing I’ve ever hear come out your mouth. You should go wash your mouth out with soap!!” I exclaimed making fake gagging noises.

“She’s right Gemma, the day she goes to a dance with Wyatt, is the day we’re turned into vampires,” Dakota giggled.

“Ya right,” Gemma said laughing with her.

Me and Karma just looked at each other and forced a laugh.

“Yeah, funny guys,” Karma said, forcing another laugh.

“So you do just plan on going alone then?” Gemma asked once she stopped giggling.

“Yeah, probably. Besides I’m not really one to dress up and go dance like a hooker,” I said.

Honestly I hated dances, it was just a place for people to dress and then have sex with their clothes on. Not to mention that the students always spiked the punch. So I either brought my own drink or drank out of the water fountain, which tasted like foot!

“Oh, come on, not everyone dances like a hooker. Gemma probably doesn’t know how to, and me and Karma refuse to be sluts! Just ask someone so I know you won’t be alone all night,” Kota pleaded, giving me the puppy dog look.

“But, Kota I don’t want too! Besides everyone already has a date. We’ve been planning this since like the beginning of the school year!” I whined.

“Not everyone,” she mumbled, then smiled, “Here’s your chance to ask someone!” she exclaimed looking over my head.

I turned around and saw Wyatt, walking towards us.
