*Chapter 21! My story is old enough to drink ;P*

“Shouldn’t they be back by now?” I questioned.

“Denny they’ll be back when they get back,” Brice answered, but he too looked a little worried.

“It’s almost dawn Brice, they’ve been gone the whole night!” I argued.

“I’m sure they’re fine. Beside they would have called or something if things had gone south,” he explained.

“I hate that I’m not out there with them,” I mumbled.

“I know, me too,” he sighed.

We both settled farther into the couch then, our eyes flickering from the TV to the door. It was another hour before Dakota burst through the door.

“They’re back!” she yelled, before turning and running out of the room.

Brice and I looked at each other before getting up as quickly as I could manage and chasing after Dakota. We hastily followed her and burst into the first main room of the building.

“Karma,” Brice sighed out in relief as he laid eyes on his girlfriend.

She smiled back, as he stepped forward and pulled her into a hug.

“We’re fine, Brice,” Karma laughed softly.

“How’d it go?” I questioned, checking on David and Daniel.

“Good, we found where they were hiding, at least some of them,” Wade answered.

“What about Snake, Dante and Neil?” I wondered.

“We know where they are too,” Nero answered, coming up behind Wade. “We were coming back when a group ambushed us, that’s why it took us so long to get back. We had to make sure none of them could tell Snake we knew where they were,” he explained.

“Okay good, so we know where they are. Now we plan for an attack,” I nodded.

“Yeah,” Nero agreed.

“Except that there were a lot more vampires there than we thought. Snake must be recruiting just like we are,” Wade stated.

“So what do you suggest? Wait for them to attack us?” I snapped.

“No, I’m just saying, were gonna need a couple more days of preparing before were gonna be ready for this. Especially with you not at full strength,” he answered.

“Fine, we’ll make sure we have a plan other than attack, and that we’re ready,” I sighed, realizing he was right.
