PROLOGUE
JACOB INOUE POV
"Obaasan." She just give me a side glance, then she return her attention to the screen.
I massage my forehead, obaasan's never bother to look me again.
"You need to take your meds, La."
"Hush, apo. I'm busy."
"But Obaasan..."She pauses the game, and looked at me just to gave a death glare.
"Isa pa, mago. Lagot ka sakin. Why don't you try this game for a while? Stress reliever."
"Game isn't my thing, La. You know that."
I see her pout, I can't help but smile. Obaasan is so cute.
"Yeah right, just stop bothering me." She grabs the console, and began to continue playing. The sound effects of the game obaasan's playing filled the room.
I sigh, and just watch her play. Suddenly, I heard a knock, I waited for the door to open. I looked at the Western Blonde Nurse, who smiles seductively. I gave her a bored look.
"Yes?"
"Sir, did Madam Inoue, took the medicine yet?"
I just pointed the table, where obaasan's medicine still untouched.
"Oh." She bit her lower lip, I think she's trying to be seducing but I'm not in the mood.
"Ugh, shite kudasai. H'wag dito sa kwarto ko. Maghanap ka ng lugar para sa mga babae mo, mago."
Napanganga ako sa sinabi ni Lola, at tumawa na lang.
"What? Obaasan! Haha, I'm not."
"Ewan ko sayo, pareho kayo ng lolo mong malandi." Ismid nito, I smiled. I know obaasan missed ojiisan. Ojiisan passed away two years ago due to heart attack.
"Uhm, Sir?"
I looked at the blonde nurse. I forgot she's still here.
"May I know what you guys talking?"
"Sabihin mo apo, ang chismosa niya at ang panget niya."
I shook my head.
"Ba't di ka nag-hi hinonggo, La?"
"Why not? Malay ko ba at baka anime fanatics yan at maalam sa sinasabi ko. Pahiya beauty ko nyan?"
I looked back at the girl.
"Nosy." I stand up, and walk towards the table where the medicine is.
"Just go, I can take care of it." I said coolly, I didn't hear a reply but a loud thud of a close door.
Couple of hours went by, and I finally decided to go. I know, the mom will be here by now to watch obaasan. I bid goodbye and walk down the corridor.
I saw a familiar figure of a girl, silently watching behind the glass window.
"Margareth." She looked at me, and smiled.
"Sir Jacob." She smiles, and bow. "How do you do, Sir?"
"Fine, just visiting obaasan."
She nodded. "Madam is doing well."
"Yes, she is."
I glance at a lifeless body of a girl. She looks familiar.
"Do you know her?"
"...Yes."
"A friend, perhaps."
"You could say that, Sir."
I look closely, and stop dead track that's why she looks familiar, she's the girl I saved a couple years ago.
"I think, I know her."
"Really?"
"Yes, she's the girl I saved years ago."
She looked at me again, shocked.
"So you're the one who saved her in the brink of death."
"Maybe." Then, I remember the guy who demanded me to go as fast as I can just to bring her to the nearest hospital. The first time, I break a rule.
"How long is she confined her?"
"Three years, I think."
I looked at her closely, she's pale because of staying here for three years.
"Comatose?"
"Not really, but it takes time when she wake up again."
My brows furrowed. "What do you mean?"
"What I mean is-----there! She wake up again. I need to excuse myself Sir Jacob, I need to inform the nurse."
She didn't wait for my reply and run down at the corridor. I look again at the girl who's hand is moving. What happened years ago that brings her here?
