Cinder Book Review~July 2015

That ending! NO! Just no!

Iko: Sorry darling but we were written this way!

This book took me two months to read but it was FANTASTIC! The writing was exquisite, the characters felt real and fleshed out, the world building was done properly, the creativity was wonderful and the plot was very moving.

Marissa: Well I have to say I'm quite flattered!

Cinder: It's my book!

Marissa: I wrote it!

Cinder: My name is on it so it's mine!

Marissa: Levana is that you?

Cinder: Fine! Yes it is Levana! I wanted you and Cinder to have a fight so you can cut her out of Winter!

Marissa: I'm sorry but Winter is already out!

I was so intrigued by the Lunars so I'm excited for Fairest. I loved Cinder so I'm really excited to jump right into Scarlet but it'll have to wait until September until I can plow through Scarlet, Cress and Fairest.

Wolf: Sounds like you murdered Cinder. You're ready to jump at Scarlet and kill her! Scarlet run!

I've got such an amitious TBR pile this month that I don't think I'll be able to read all the books. 5/5 stars.

Levana: Where am I? I should be in every single review!

Scarlet Book Review~ September 2015

Um... this was really good but not quite as good as Cinder. Sure Cinder took a lot of time but that is because I listened to the audiobook. I only had two issues with the book:

- Scarlet jumps to conclusions way too quickly.

Scarlet: EXCUSE MY BUTTONS! WHAT INSULT DID YOU JUST THROW AT ME!? I WILL NO LONGER BE PART OF YOUR BOOK! Antoana0502, YOU SUCK!

Wolf: Scar, dear, I don't mean to offend you but the author is correct [sometimes]!

- The insta love

Scarlet was way too hot tempered and jumped to conclusions way too fast. I was annoyed at how quickly her feelings for Wolf changed/ switched/ developed. Also the insta love was way too cheesy.

" You're the only one, Scarlet. You always will be."

Seriously? Tone it down, you've known each other for 3 days. Overall I really like the new cast of characters. 4.5/5 stars.

Wolf: SHUT UP OK! I WILL NO LONGER BE PART OF YOUR BOOK! Antoana0502, YOU SUCK!

Scarlet: Wolf, dear, I don't mean to offend you but the author is correct [sometimes]!

Levana: I swear I'm going to kill you, Antoana0502, if you don't include me in the next review!

Cress Book Review~ September 2015

This was perfection!Cress is such a cool character and I loved her.

Cress: Thanks! I love you too!

Thorne: I thought you loved me!

Cinder was so kick- butt it was crazy. I loved the ending! Kaider! Kaider! Cresswell! I wished Scarlet was there.

Scarlet: I know you did that so you can get me back into your stupid book but it's not happening!

I loved how everything unravelled into a flawless spiderweb. PERFECTION! Such a satisifying sequel. I'm so pumped for Winter, it hurts!

Winter: OMG I'M SO SORRY I HURT YOU ALTHOUGH I CAN'T REMEMBER WHEN! SHALL I GET YOU A GLASS OF WATER?

Fandom: Actually I think she wants the book not a glass of water!

5/5 stars! Can't hype it up enough!

Cinder- mechanic, kick- butt lady!

Scarlet- pilot, kick- butt lady!

Cress- hacker, kick- butt lady!

Winter- ???, kick- butt lady!

Winter: What do you mean '???' ? It should be 'Winter - Vet, kick- butt lady!' !!!!

Such a satisfying cast of characters! Arrrggghhh!

Levana: YOU'RE DEAD MEAT!

Fairest Book Review ~ September 2015

As a filler this was FANTASTIC! Marissa has created Levana so well and it was beautifully written as always.

Levana: See it wasn't that hard! And yes I am beautifully created! That just lowered your crime to a shorter sentence instead of beheading you! Which is prison until death!

Levana is crazy, ok.

Levana: Actually I changed my mind! You're getting beheaded!

This was really helpful for Winter and Cinder's backstories and things were much clearer. This is super short but those were the things I wanted to discuss. 5/5 stars.
