I woke up to a disheveled bed and a guy passed out next to me. I immediately wrinkled my nose. Ew. I can't believe that I fell asleep. To be fair James is a fun fuck. He doesn't take anything to heart and I can always go to him with no strings attached. But I needed to leave. I slipped on the tight minidress I was wearing to the club and the five inch hooker heels. I hurried out the door before getting in my car. I yawned when I saw the time. 3 in the morning. Well, guess who isn't going to school tomorrow! I know that saying, never drive when you are tired. But screw that, I will drive whenever, where ever I want. My phone rang and I put it on speaker as I backed out and drove towards home.

"Hello?"

"Hey baby girl, it's me." I glanced at the contact name. Boyfriend #54, just a little fun I like to have. Except for the fact that I don't actually know their names, whoops.

"Hey hun." I said, rolling my eyes.

"Wanna come over?" Shit I'm in trouble.

"I'd love too. But I just took a shower and am lying on my nice comfy soft bed." I heard him groan on the other end.

"What about tomorrow?"

"If your a good boy, you can come find me and I'll give you your answer." He started rambling on and I paid more attention to how tired I was. I yawned and stopped at a stop sign. I covered my mouth to finish my yawn before stepping on the gas, and driving forward.  It was exhausting to be loved by many, not going to lie.  My phone lit up with an incoming call and I smiled when I saw the contact name as "my bitch". Hehehe.

"I have to go, but come find me tomorrow k?" I said.  He grumbled but agreed before hanging up.  I slid the phone to answer.  There was a ton of noise on the other end.

"LEXI BABE!" My best friend Kiera yelled over the phone.

"Kerr, where you at?"

"SOME CLUB THAT'S TOTALLY RAGING RIGHT NOW, DUDE YOU ARE MISSING EVERYTHING!" She yelled. I was too tired to do anything but listen to her ramble on...and on...and on. I couldn't wait for me to be at home in my warm cozy bed. With that thought in mind, I accelerated only to slam into something. I screamed and dropped my phone causing it to disconnect from Kerr. I clutched my heart and took deep breaths in before climbing out of the car to see what I hit. A guy was lying facedown in the street. I started to hyperventilate, feeling a panic attack. He wasn't moving. I softly turned him around and the nerves hit me full force. I knew who this was.

Gavin Lahar. God I hated the name. Egotistical jerk who rivaled me as a player, a soccer captain and as a school. While I attended the prestigious and beautiful Campbell High School, home of the red and black Timberwolves, Gavin attended the shitty Ridgewood High School, home of the green and white Riverhawks. He and I both brought our soccer teams to victory for the past three years of our high school career. And, he's as big a player as I am. And he was by far one of the hottest guys to ever walk the face of this Earth. Surprisingly to others, Gavin and I have never slept together. We both have a mutual understanding that it will never ever happen.

Alexa Howell and Gavin Lahar...together...well shit.

But Gavin was now lying in the middle of the street, my car's headlights shining upon him. I shook him and he groaned.

"Gavin? Oh shit, are you ok?" He wasn't answering me. I grabbed my phone and dialed an ambulance.

"What's your emergancy?" The lady asked.

"I just hit someone with my car. He's not dead but please help."

"We are sending a team on their way, what's your location?" I told her the address and she told me to try to wake him up. I looked at Gavin and shook him, trying to get him to open his eyes, do something. I heard sirens and saw flashing lights.

"Come on Gavin stay with me." I mumbled. An ambulance pulled over and guys hopped out, running over.

"Ma'mn we need you to step aside." I nodded vaguely, still in shock. They took his heart rate and blood pressure before putting him on a stretcher and closed the doors. One of the paramedics came over to me.

"Your boyfriend seems fine, he's in shock and needs a few days to get back to normal. My idea is for you to go home. It's late, you can clear your head and come tomorrow to visit. And here. This was with your boyfriend's things. Pretty big news." She smiled and handed me a piece of paper before walking away. I watched the ambulance drive away before getting into my car and driving the rest of the way home.

Up in my room, I pulled out the paper and looked at it considerably. I have no right going through his stuff. But it was just a piece of paper right? It wasn't in an envelope. I turned the paper over and gasped when I saw the title.
