This damn brace. Turns out that I just had a really bad sprain, thank goodness and now I was stuck in a black brace.  It still didn't stop me from doing my favorite Sunday night activity. I had slipped on a blood red bandage dress and black pumps. My hair was straightened all the way down to my ass and my lips were painted red. I had walked up to Armageddon like I owned the joint and took my seat at the barstool. I nodded for Freddy to give me my shots and beer which I had immediately started downing. I've been here for the past two hours, drinking my poor little heart away.

"Hey babe, can I buy you a drink?" This guy, probably college age, asked me. I looked at him in a drunken haze.

"No drinks. Just dance." I grabbed his wrist pulling him onto the dance floor. I started moving my hips to the music, grinding against him. He gripped my hips tightly and dance with me. I giggled.

"You know, this might be the most fun I've had this whole week!" He chuckled.

"I'm Sean, and I can tell you are drunk. Let me go call you a cab." I nodded and he pulled me out of the club. He pulled me out back and into the alley.

"Where are cabs around here?" I asked, amused.

"There are no cabs. Come on honey you look friendly. Let's have some fun." He forced himself on me, his hands sliding up my legs as I tried to force him away.

"Please stop." I mumbled, almost getting tired. I started wondering what was slipped into my drink. Sean managed to force my dress up, and unbuckled his pants. I groaned, trying to get free. Tears started leaking down my face.

"Help me please." I whispered as he entered me.

"Hey!" Someone yelled, running over and pulling the guy off of me. He punched Sean square in the jaw. I let out a gasp, watching the guy beat Sean senseless.  I was getting very lightheaded as I pulled my dress down. Tears kept flowing and I kept my eyes trained on the guy.

"Stop!" I said.  The guy turned and looked at me. "Just please stop." I said, feeling too lightheaded to stand. I started swaying and the guy ran over to catch me before I hit my head on the concrete ground.

"Alexa, I got you." were the last words I heard before blacking out.

Beep.

Beep.

Beep.

My head was pounding when I got around to waking up. I threw my hand around trying to find that insufferable beeping noise.

"Woah, watch out sister." I opened my eyes to stare into Kerr's dark brown ones. I gasped, trying to move away from her but the hospital bed only allowed me so far. "Guess I deserve that one." I looked around to see Tyler and flowers.

"What are you doing here? Please, whatever I did, don't hurt me anymore." I said.  Tyler got up and walked over to me, placing a hand on my shoulder.

"Honey, just hear her out." Tyler said. I looked into his eyes, nodding after seeing comfort.

"Alexa, I'm really sorry for the way I've been behaving. All this time when I have been with Gavin, something always has seemed off. You never came with us, and he would never be able to look at you. You were both upset and I could never figure out why until you told me. Then I just felt stupid. I should have seen it all before but I was so invested in the time I had with Gavin that I didn't think about what was most important to me. Our friendship is everything. I need you. I miss my batman." I kept a cold face as her hopeful one began to falter.

"I hate that you thought you could just sprain my wrist as a way to get even with me. But, as much as I'm trying to keep a grudge, I do miss my Robin." I smiled a little. She broke out into a smile and she hugged me tight. I pulled Tyler into our hug and we stood there for a couple of minutes. "So, who wants to tell me why the hell I'm in the hospital?"

"Well after last night, someone brought you here to make sure you were okay. He was here this morning but left." Tyler said. I looked between them.

"Who exactly?"

"Gavin."

I stepped out of my car, cradling my wrist and marching up the steps of Ridgewood. I slammed the door open and the cafeteria was crowded with people. Gavin wasn't hard to miss considering that he stuck out in a crowd, sitting in the middle table.

"You!" I said. Everyone stopped their conversations to turn to look at me. Gavin looked at me and stood up.

"Alexa?" I marched over, grabbing the collar of his shirt and kissing him square on the lips. He was shocked for a second before responding with an equal amount of passion. He nipped my bottom lip asking for entrance which I gladly gave to him. He grasped my waist, pulling me impossibly close while his other hand gripped my hair. I pulled away for breath as I started at him.

"Thank you." I whispered giving him one more peck on the lips before turning and walking out of the school.
