"Hayden!!" I grinned, running over to my best friend.
"SEXY LEXI! My babe how are you?" He said. I jumped on him giving him a ginormous hug. He in return kissed my forehead. Now before you all start questioning, let me back up.
So I stayed up all night considering who was more important to me. Hayden...or Gavin? Gavin...or Hayden? After constant back and forth banter, I realized I was being stupid and there was one clearly more important than the other. Which is why, I'm at the airport currently. Hayden slung his arm around my shoulder and we started walking.
"So bitch, tell me everything. Any hot new boys?" Guilt washed over me thinking about Gavin probably waiting for me right now but it vanished with the shake of my head.
"Same old in this dump."
"Ugh I was hoping for new meat. Oh well, I guess I'll have to find a boyfriend somewhere else." I grinned. I was so proud of my little Hayden and how open he was with his sexuality. It just made him so much better. "Let's go kick it at your house." I nodded giving Hayden one last hug.
"I'm glad you're here."
"Me too baby doll, me too."

"Okay so, Panda Palace or Olive Garden?" I asked, tapping the phone against my chin while holding both menus to Hayden's face. He gave me a look of disgust."Is that even a question?"
"Orange chicken it is." I said, dialing the oh so familiar number. After placing our order, I fell back onto the couch. Of course, as soon as I sat there was a knock on the door.
"Damn, fast service!" Hayden said, excitedly as I rolled my eyes. I got up and opened the door and gasped.
"Gavin?" He looked desperate as he paced back and forth on the door step.
"I told myself that you must be dying in the house, that's why you didn't come, but no, here you are, looking all..." He gestured to my body, as guilt started to flood my body. "Anyways, why didn't you come? I had faith in you."
"My best friend, he flew in today. I had to go meet him at the airport."
"He? So that's it then? I'm done? You have Kerr, you have James and you now have this other guy. Goddamn it Alexa, why can't you just tell me what you FUCKING WANT?" He raised his voice as I flinched. I will not cry in front of Gavin.
"Hey sexy!" Hayden said coming up behind me, placing his arm around my shoulders.
"Not now Hayden." I said.
"For once Lex, I wasn't talking to you." He said giving Gavin the eyes. Gavin looked at him for a second, but I think he was too pissed to register anything.
"Gavin, please. Let me come over tomorrow and I'll hear everything out, I promise." He stiffened.
"You lost your chance. Have a nice life." He mumbled before walking to his car door, unlocking and slamming the door shut. One traitorous tear escaped my eyes. Hayden looked at me, to Gavin to me again.
"Wait, are those tears over the Gavin??? As in Gavin Lahar, your enemy? He seemed pretty cozy." I wiped my face clean.
"It's nothing. We still on for the soccer game tonight? We are playing the Riverhawks and I told James I would go before we spilt. I'm still one to keep a promise."
"Sure. Only if you tell me what happened though." I groaned, but one look at his face told me he wasn't budging.
"Gavin kissed me." I whispered.
"Come again?"
"Gavin kissed me!" He smirked.
"Sexy Lexi's got a boyfriend."
"We aren't dating, as you could tell. He wanted me to meet him today but I didn't go." Hayden looked at me in shock.
"And why the hell not?!"
"Cause I was picking you up idiot." Hayden slapped my shoulder hard.
"You little fucker! I was just a distraction! You are talking to him after the game, we are getting you with that sexy hunk of man. Now let's get you all dolled up."
