I snuck into the wedding. Today was the day. Eddie was marrying some blonde girl he'd met in London a few months after we'd broke up. Out of nowhere I had received an invitation and I was going but not for the reason he expected.

Her patents looked like those horrible people who believed their child was the best at everything. A few rows behind them on the opposite side sat Fabian, Nina, Jerome, KT and Mara. I smiled wishing I was with them but I had more important business.

-This is surely not what you thought it would be. I lose myself in a day dream where I stand and say-

I can't imagine the bad boy Eddie wanting a big white wedding with flowers and bows at the end of every row of seats. I know this isn't what he wanted, he'd told me how he wanted his wedding.

Her family spoke in posh tones as they greeted each other. He stood at the altar looking as dashing as ever. The organ began to play and I knew it wouldn't be long.

She had clearly been practising her walk for weeks. Not a toe was out of line and she trekked down the long aisle. I knew somewhere deep in his heart he had imagined it was me at at least one point.

Her mother looked ready to pass out but as my eyes connected with Eddies I forgot about everyone else's existence.

He slowly smiled at me. I walked towards the aisle at the back of the church. He walked towards me. He took my hands in his own and pressed a kiss to my lips. At that moment I knew we were meant to last forever.
