chapter 2: make-up does the trick

Aria's pov:

I woke up in excreatating pain, I was sore and my legs felt like jelly.

Noel was asleep next to me so I tried to get up quietly so I would have enough time to put makeup on to cover my black eye and all the bruises all over me,but it didnt work because
He always has his arms wrapped around me.

Then I felt a pair of strong arms dig into my side pulling me closer towards him.

"where do you think you are going?"he asked. I could tell he was furious at me, as usual, but I never do anything wrong.

"I am getting ready for school babe, I was thinkling we could get ready now, go to the brew and ditch first period with that little old crook miss Bramall, then go see that new teacher Mr Fitz everyone thinks is so hot." I said regretting the last part.

"what are you trying to say I'm not hot enough? Do you need to be punished for saying that Aria?" he asked curious.

He raises a hand and slaps me twice across the face, hard.

I cry out, helpless, even though I know there's nobody there that can hear me.

He's doing this to me because I don't deserve to be loved.

Maybe if I'd kept my mouth shut about everything I have ever said to him, this wouldn't be happening.

It's all my fault.

"I'm going to get up now and get ready are you coming."I asked kindly.

" I've just got to get something from downstairs I'll be back in a minute." Noel said.

I took this as my chance to move and get changed, but some foundation and cover-up on to hide my bruises.

I got changed into blue skinny jeans, a purple top with a leopard print jacket and cute black boots, with my hair down to help cover my face.

Then I heard a bottle smash down stairs, I hope Noel won't hurt me I thought.

"shit!" he yelled as I hurt him call me down stairs.

I felt a knot tie in my stomach as I got out of bed and headed towards the old stairs.
