chapter 5: persistent

Aria's pov:

That was so close.

I would open up to him it's just that I dont want him to tell.

I'm scared Noel will findout and beat me up really bad this time.

Why is life so hard.

After I got back home, luckily Noel wasn't there, so I decided to go to bed.

Acouple of hours later, i woke up with a note from Noel saying

Aria,

I am out drinking.

I will be home at 7.

I expect dinner ready for when I get home.

Love you

N.

I saw the note and burst into tears, I rushed to the desk and pulled out the blade of the pencil sharpener and lifted my skirt and felt immense relief as the blade sunk into my flesh.

I repeated this process several times, and then repeated it on my arm.

I was so engrossed with this that I didn't notice the door open and a familiar voice say "Aria are you in there?"

I didn't notice until I heard Ezra's gasp and his footsteps running over to me, he looks at me saying "aria how long has this been going on?"

I just say, "3" without looking into his eyes, he gasps again "what three, days, weeks, months... Oh god Aria, please tell me not three years?" I can't deal with it and I look into his eyes, a big mistake they are wide and perfect, I melt

"I'm sorry okay, it was just all too much.

I just couldn't deal with it, it all happened so fast and I had no control over it, and I felt like I was losing everything, and then the stuff happened with Noel and I just felt like my world was falling apart."

"Whoa hold up Aria, here sit down and start from the beginning"...

" I'm sorry, I can't I said as I wiped the tears from my eyes, what are you doing here anyway?" I asked confused.

" well the front door was open,and I knocked, but no one answered so I thought I would come and see if you are alright." Ezra said opening his arms into an embrace.

I took this offer and lent into his arms.

For once in along time, I actually felt safe, I wished this moment could last.

My leg began to sting, so I clenched my thists trying to stop myself from crying.

Blood began to drip down my leg, each hitting the now stained carpet.

Ezra saw the pain in my eyes and said " I'll be back in a minute, I'm going to get a wet cloth and a bandage."

"wait, what time is it?" I quavered.

" 5 to 7 why?" Ezra asked.

a wash of fear consumed me, Noel would be back any second.

"Y-you need to leave NOW!" I yelled.

"Aria I'm here to help you" Ezra replied in confusion.

" I know, but I'll be fine, my boyfriend will be back in a minute, he will help me out." I said trying to reassure him I was ok.

"I'm home, you Fucking slut, get your ass down here now or else!" Noel boomed as he walked through the front door.

I looked down, wiped my leg and got up.

Ezra stood there in Stoke, he didn't know what to say.

"Please don't day anything just stay here and no matter what happens I wan thou to stay in the bathroom." I whimpered as I guided him to the bathroom.

" can you hurry the fuck up Aria, I don't have all day you know." he yelled.

I ran down the stairs and said hi to Noel.

" why we're you so long? You haven't got anyone else up there have you?" Noel screamed in my face.

I bit my inner lip trying to stop myself from crying.

"ANSWER ME!" noel shouted as he pinned me against the wall and started to hit me.

Ezra's pov:

I heard Aria crying from down stairs, I had to do something about it, I can't just let her get hurt.

" Ow!" she Screamed.

Then I heard two people coming up the stairs.

Aria was still crying.

"I want you to have sex with me" I heard Noel say.

Omg Aria was getting abused sexually aswell.

I heard the whole thing, but the whole time I was scared to death about Aria.

About 3 hours later i heard loud snoring, so I decided that would be the perfect time to leave.

I carefully unlocked the bathroom, crept down the stairs and out the door.
