chapter 6: aria you can run, but you can't hide.

Ezra's pov:

It's been a week since the incident I saw happened.

Has Noel been doing this to her every night?

What should I do?

Should I call the police?

If I call the police will she ever forgive me?

Is this why she puts up a I'm a badass act?

Millions of questions were running through my head and I was getting stressed out about it.

Aria hadn't came to class, what is she is really hurt?

I would never forgive myself.

After class, I i sat and marked some papers from my classes sats, just before I heard a gentle knock at the frail wooden door.

It was Aria, I got up from my seat.

her hair was covering her face.

"w-what are you going here?" I asked really confused.

" well it's nice to see you too Ezra, if you didn't want me here, just say." she giggled.

"you know exactly what I mean, you haven't been at school for a week and I was really worried that Noel had hurt you again." I said.

" we need to talk." Aria said as she grabbed my hand and guided me to the first table.

I sat down and aria began to talk.

" what you saw, you didn't tell anyone did you? I need you to promise you won't tell anyone because if Noel finds out he will literally kill me." Aria asked.

"no I haven't told anyone Aria, but I'm not sure if I can keep it a secret, because this is serious and people get jail time for doing these kind of things." I said reassuringly.

" no Ezra, you have to promise you won't!" she said beginning to cry.

" why is you hair covering your face Aria, what did Noel do to you?" I asked as I lifted the hair from her face.

"Ezra, don't!" she begged As she stepped back, but that didn't stop me.

Her face was purple with bruises and had cuts and grazes.

" did he do this to you?" I asked razing my voice.

"please don't do anything." Aria pleaded.

"don't say anything about what?" came a voice from the door.

"Noel?" Aria trempled.

"move it now, we are going, now!" noel Screamed.

"no Aria isn't going anywhere with you!" I yelled.

" Oh really, what are you going to do about it?" Noel smurked.

" you don't know wanna know Noel" I said daringly.

I could tell Aria was petrified because she was moving closer and closer to me.

I moved into noel's face and said" come at me then bitch."

I could tell he was pissed.

Noel threw a punch, but I grabbed his wrist and twisted it, making him fall to the floor.

"aahh" he Screamed out in pain as I kicking him in the stomach.

I got down to his height and started to punch him.

His mouth was bleeding and his face was covered in blood.

Aria was crying in the background because she was petrified of what Noel might do to her.

" I saw down if you ever Fucking touch Aria ever again, I will batter you so hard, I will makesure you wish you were dead." I said before standing up and hugging Aria.

" It's ok Aria, I promise I will protect you no matter what." I whispered into her ear.

We got in my car, then I said to Aria she can stay at my place.

She took the offer and when we got in, I got vegan takeout for me and aria, before going to bed and letting her sleep in my bed and I decided to take the sofa.
