OMG Guys thank you soooo much we hit 1k reads I hope you like this long chapter and read the little authors note at the end but it's more like a thank you note :-)

Matts POV

We walk out to the see the wonderful fireworks

We find a spot and watch the fireworks

I look over and I can see how happy she is

I see her amused and wowed by the fireworks

I think this is the perfect time

I think to myself

Just go for it Matt you can do it

I think again

So I turn Katelyn around as our eyes meet

Katelyns POV

I stare into his

As he slowly moves his hands from his side to my waist

As he pulls me in closer

So close that I can hear him breathing

So close I can hear his heart thumping very loudly

As I see that he looks down at my lips

Then back up to my eyes

As if he were asking me for permission

But right now I didn't even think

I see him leaning in

As our lips finally connect with each other

As I stand a bit on my tippy toes

And I wrap my arms around his neck

As we kiss and I can hear in the background the fireworks

As the sky fills with many colors

But it seemed

As if it were just the two of us on this planet

Then after the short kiss we disconnect our lips

As he smiles at me and I doing the same

As he pulls me in

And I rest my head on his chest while he hugs me

As we stand there watching the fireworks

After the fireworks the park closes

As we all head out the big gates

I check my phone only to realize it's 12:00

Shoot

I say

What's wrong

Matt asked with a concern look on his face

Well it seems as if we stayed here longer than I thought it's 12:00

I say laughing a bit

Oh dang it didn't even feel that long

Matt says

I better call my mom
