“Wake up! Cantalia!” You’re going to be late to class,” Talia shakes me awake. I slowly open my eyes.

“Can’t I just skip one day?” I ask while rolling over to the right.

“No you can’t,” Talia grabs the blanket off me. “You need to get ready, and get there before you’re late.”

“Fine,” I said while slowly getting up.

“I have to go to work, so I’ll see you tonight,” Talia runs out of the room. I walk to my rusty drawer, pull out a black shirt, faded brown jeans, and put them on. I run downstairs and out of the dorm. I spot Ms. Elaine walking toward the dorm carrying a bucket.

“What are you carrying?” I ask intrigued.

“A bucket filled with all kinds of fruits,” She answers simply. “Do you want one?”

“Can I get an apple?” I ask.

“Sure,” Ms. Elaine hands me a green apple. “Don’t you have classes today?”

“Yeah! I got to go,” I said before running past her.  I ate the apple as I ran through a path. I was surrounded by trees. After a while I spotted a set of buildings. I throw away my now finished apple in a nearby trash can, and ran up the stairs. I go into the old middle building, and ran down the hallway to the left. I thrust open the doors, and run down the hallway to the left. I open an old looking door and step in. The room was humongous, and could fit up to sixty people. I walk past people that were talking or just standing alone. I spot Laru being yelled at by some guy. I walk closer to her.

“I’M NOT UNDERAGED! I happen to be sixteen years old!” The guy snaps at Laru.

“Sorry I just thought you were younger,” Laru says nicely trying to not anger the guy further.

“Why so mad?” I ask nicely as I jump in to the conversation. The guy turns and looks at me. “We all make mistakes.”

“I don’t like it, when people assume my age without even knowing me,” the guy answers with a rough voice.

“Let’s not get into a fight so early in the morning,” I said with a small smile. The guy looks at me before turning around and walking away.

“Thank you! Thank you!” Laru cheerfully says. “I really didn’t feel in the mood to fight right now.”

““You’re welcome,” I said “But shouldn’t you try not to get into anymore fight?”

“You know that they get angry no matter what I say or what kind of tone I say it in,” Laru answers sadly.

I wonder what it feels like.  She is stronger than me. I don’t know what I would do if people started acting that way towards me.

“Let’s go sit down,” Laru interrupts my thoughts. “The class is about to start.”

“Okay,” I said as we started to walk to the old bleachers. The bleachers were covered in dust and mold. We sat in an area that mold wasn’t growing in, and was better kept considered the dust. I saw the teacher walk in grumpily.

“SIT DOWN!” the teacher yells angrily. All the other teenagers that were still standing run to the bleachers and sit down. I saw four guy still standing.

“This isn’t going to turn out good,” Laru whispers. I silently agree. The teacher walks toward them, stomping his feet on the ground hard.

“I TOLD YOU STINKING KIDS TO SIT DOWN!” He yells angrily. I saw two of the guys walk toward the teacher, and hold him back. “W-What are you kids doing?”
