Jin's Point of View
I get out of the shower and decide to text Y/N. She doesn't reply. Weird. Maybe she's busy with something. Oh well, I'll try again later. After getting dressed, I hear a frantic knock on the door. I open it cautiously.
"Oh, he-"
"Get in the car!" Yells Adam. He seems like he's about to break down. I quickly grab my shoes and hop into his car. "What's the problem?" I ask, curious.
"My sister...." He starts, unable to finish his sentence. He's on the verge of tears, and he never cries unless something terrible has happened.
"What happened?" I demand.
"She was in a car crash. She's barely alive," He sobs. I barely hear the words. The whole world melts around me as I start having flashbacks of the moments me and Y/N have shared. I don't know how long I think until Adam shakes me.
"Snap out of it, Jin! We have to hurry!" Adam starts the car and almost goes speeding down the road.
"Adam!" I yell. "Getting into a crash isn't going to help Y/N!" He slows the car down. As we drive to the hospital, the event is making me have a reality check. Y/N, the woman I love, is in the hospital on the verge of dying. I put my head in my hands, trying not to break down. I have to be strong.
For Y/N.
Fast forward to arriving at the hospital
I push the doors past me and run down the hallway. The hospital is buzzing with activity.
"What room?" I ask Adam. "302!" He yells back. Adrenaline pumps through me as I run even faster down the hallway. We come to a screeching halt as a nurse blocks the doorway.
"I'm sorry, but you cannot pass. The patient is in critical condition," Says the nurse, a sympathetic look on her face.
"You don't understand, we have to see Y/N!" Yells Adam. I've never heard him sound so desperate.
"Sorry, but rules are rules," The nurse replies. "I can call you later for whenever she's able to see visitors,"
I know rules are rules, but I couldn't help it. I push the nurse over and rush into the room.
What I find is heartbreaking.
