Chapter Eleven: Adam's House

Your Point of View

I finally stop crying. Adam pulls away from holding me and looks at me. "Are you okay?"

I nod my head and look up at him. I pull him into a hug. "Thank you for always being there for me," I whisper.

"What are siblings for?" He asks jokingly. I laugh and pulled away. "I'll drive you to my place," He gets up and grabs his keys.

"You don't need to take me there," I insist.

"We'll go to your house and pick up some clothes for you. Then you will spend the night at my place," He takes my hand pulls me off of the couch. We walk through the doors and to his convertible.

"Put the hood down!" I yell. He laughs, and the mechanical whirring begins as the hood of his car goes down, showing the large, white clouds high in the atmosphere. I get into the car and look at the sky. The sun is low on the horizon, causing a sunset. It reminds me of my date with Jin, and my heart fills with pain. Jin. I want to see him, but at the same time... I want to stay as far away from him as I can.

"Y/N!" Adam shakes me and takes me out of my daze. "You okay?"

"Yeah," I reply, shaking my head. "Just thinking,"

"Okay," He shrugs, but looks curious.

As he pulls out of the parking lot, I see Ross walking to his car. He meets my eyes and looked at me with concern. I keep my face blank as we drive away.

He knew I was with Jin, but still tried to kiss me. Does he really love me that much? My mind is swirling as I watch the road in front of me. We soon arrive at Adam's house.

We walk inside and are greeted by Alesa.

"Hiii!!!" She yells, hugging me.

"Hey!" I smile, trying to act normal and excited.

"I'll go and make dinner," Alesa walks into the kitchen. Adam leads me to the living room. We sit down on the couch. "Can you tell me.. Uh... What happened before I came to your office?" He asks. I sigh. "Sure,"

I tell him piece by piece of what happened. What Ross said and did, what happened with Jin, and my breaking down. He listens closely the entire time, which I appreciate. After I finish, he shakes his head.

"I can't believe they actually did that," He sighs. "You just arrived in Seattle. You just got out of the hospital. They need to give you a break," He puts his head in his hands. I put my hand on his shoulder.

"Don't worry about me," I assure him. "I'll be fine," He pulls me into a hug. "Dinner's ready!" Calls Alesa from the kitchen. We get up and went to the dining room.

Fast forward to getting ready for bed

Dinner was great. Adam, Alesa and I told funny stories the entire time. I made Adam spit out Coke all over the table from laughing too hard. It was fun. I close the door of the guest bedroom and sit on the bed. I get a text from...... Jin.

Jin: Hey Y/N

Y/N: Hey

Jin: I'm sorry about earlier. I got really jealous and shouldn't have yelled like that. Will you forgive me?

Y/N: I forgive you. Sorry for kinda holding a grudge.

Jin: It's okay. Wanna hang out tomorrow to make up for today?

Y/N: Sure! Besides, tomorrow is SATURDAY!

Jin: Haha, ok, I'll pick you up at 1:00

Y/N: Coolio! See ya tomorrow

Jin: Ditto

After making up with Jin, I feel better. I climb into bed, exhausted. As soon as my head hits the pillow, I fall asleep, ready for a new day.
