Chapter Two
"What an inconsiderate jerk! What a douche bag! What a...a crackpot!" yelled Jasmine angrily as she kicked her apartment door open and stormed in. "I mean, just because he's rich and famous, doesn't mean he can treat other people like shit."
Natalia rolled her eyes as she followed her inside. "Please, you're overreacting. Besides, you only brought it onto yourself... If I remember it clearly, you're the one who first offended him, so he had a right to complain to your boss."
She suddenly stopped walking and whipped around to look at her friend. "Hey! Whose side on you're on?" she demanded furiously, feeling a sudden need to vent out her anger on something. "I really hope you're not betraying me to that ass who thinks he's all that."
Natalia placed her hands up into the air, "Jazzy, calm down. It's just a job; you can always get another one."
Jasmine ignored her comment and answered it with a question, "Where's your magazine?" she demanded.
Her friend stared at her suspiciously, but took it out of her purse. "Its here, why do you need-"
Without warning, Jasmine snatched it out of her hands, flipped to the page with Alec Dalton's picture and began ripping it out of the magazine.
The moment that Natalia had realized what Jasmine was doing she, started to scream, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO MY MAGAZINE?!" she shrieked, "First you piss of Alec Dalton, and now you're pissing off me?" she yelled as she tried to make a lunge for it, but it was too late, her so called 'best friend' had already ripped the whole picture out and was dashing towards a shelf.
Jasmine glanced at her friend while gleefully pinning Alec's picture onto her dartboard. "I'm just venting my anger off." She replied simply before grabbing the darts on the side table and aiming it at his face.
"I can't believe this..." muttered Natalia, "My best friend is a nut case."
"Hey! I heard that, and I'm not afraid to start aiming one of these at your face either!" stated Jasmine as she threw a dart, which landed between his eyes.
Natalia turned pale and was about to head towards the exit, when a young brown haired boy with fair completion stepped into her way.
"Whoa! What did that poor guy do to deserve my sister's wrath?" asked Tyler, staring awestruck between Jasmine fearsome throws and at Alec's now mangled picture.
"You don't want to know," muttered Natalia as she stared at the ripped page in her magazine. Her heart stopped racing when she realized that Jasmine hadn't ripped the page with the contest information on it, but for a moment she begun to wonder if it was a good idea to enter her friend into a contest that she'll probably despise... Heck, why not?
"What's so interesting about that magazine?" demanding Tyler as he tried to peer over Natalia's shoulder and at the magazine.
Her eyes suddenly glistened as an idea suddenly popped into her head. "Tyler, can I speak to you outside privately?" she asked quietly while glancing at Jasmine who seemed to be in her own little world at the moment.
"Uh...yeah...sure, although you're not giving me much of a choice" he pointed out as Natalia grabbed his arm and pulled him to the door and out into the apartment hallway.
After she had made sure the door was shut and there was no one else around, she spoke, "Listen, Tyler I need to you to do me a big favor." She said slowly. "It's about your sister... I want to enter her in a reality T.V show were she can have the chance to win Alec Dalton's heart-"
