Restless Capricorn (M) x Aquarius

The clock ticked, and Capricorn didn't do anything but sit at his desk, and stare blankly at his paper. Sighing, he glanced at the clock to see what time it was. It wasn't a surprise for him to see that it was 3:17 A.M, he was actually pretty used to this.

He got up from his desk, and stretched out his arms. 'Time to check on the others' he thought. He walked out of his room and began to make his way to the other zodiac's room.

He went by order; Aries first, Taurus next, then Gemini, and so on. He then walked to the 10th room (Eleventh if he included himself) and saw that the door was left wide open. He walked into the space themed room and glanced at the bed against the wall.

"She's... Not here.." He muttered, "Maybe she just went to the bathroom" Walking out, he closed the bedroom door and went into the last room.

Seeing that Pisces was in his bed, sleeping peacefully, the goat thought his job here was done. He leaves the room and decides to head back to his, however, as he walked by the last room he checked, he can't help but wonder if the young girl was back.

'Maybe I should check again.. ' He did, but she wasn't there. Capricorn felt himself frown. He felt that something didn't seem right, but he didn't know what. Then, he went off to the living room, just because his instinct told him to.

Sure, it was dark, but the boy could actually see. When he reached the living room, it wasn't long for him to spot the person he was looking for. "Aquarius?"

On the couch, sat Aquarius. She was just in a long sleeved shirt that was actually long enough to cover her entire pajama shorts. Her knees were curled up to her chest, her face was hidden as she hugged herself, trembling in what looked like... Fear.

Curious as he is, Capricorn makes his way up to her. "Aquarius.." He called.

"Aquarius... What's wrong?"

".............."

"Aqua...!" He grabbed her shoulders, frustrated with the silence she was giving him.

Aquarius grew tense the moment Capricorn touched her, but she didn't look up. She preferred to be curled into a ball. "... Why are you here, Cap?" she asked, her voice surprisingly shaking.

He flinched, "I came to check on you of course! Why are you here?"

"............" Silence again.

"Aqua..?" That's when he started to get worried. Sure, Aquarius would be very quiet at times, but whenever she's THIS quiet, it's a sign that something was wrong. "Please, tell me what's wrong.."

"Leave me alone, Capricorn..."

"No"

"Cap.. Please.."

"I'm not leaving till you tell me what's wrong"

"Cap!" Aquarius finally picks up her head to glare at said boy.

He would've shouted and glared back at her, but he was too stunned by the site. As he looked at her face, he saw that it was red, and wet. Though, it was still getting wet since stream of tears kept rolling down her cheeks. She had been crying... But why?

"Just leave me alone..." She breathed, "I'll go back to my room in just a few-"

He cut her sentence, cupping her face. She didn't do anything, but stare. "What's wrong?" He asked again, but this time, in a more softer tone.

The girl pulled her face away, and hid her face once more. She was, in fact, embarrassed that she was caught crying. "It's non of your business.."

"Tell me.." He knelt down to match her eye level. "I came to check in you for a reason... Didn't I?"

The air sign hesitantly looked up, but soon found out that she can't turn away from those Dark green eyes that she has met. She frowned, "I just had a nightmare... That's all"

"What about that nightmare? I assume it was the reason you're crying now?"

"Maybe.. Maybe not" She put her legs down, and rested her hands on her lap. "The nightmare... Was just about being the only one left..." She finally admitted.

Capricorn's eyes grew wide, "You mean.."

"The last zodiac.." She muttered, "All of you died in my dreams... I don't know how, but.. You just disappeared, one by one.. Then it was only me..." Aquarius could feel herself shiver, "I felt lonely... I mean, I always felt lonely at times but this time- It was true loneliness"

"I was happy that it was a dream, but I had it more than once. I started to think that it might be real, it might actually happen in the near future... It made me upset and restless" She looked up, "Cap... What if it does happen, really?"

"I doubt it" As quickly as possible, the the brown haired boy pulls the girl into a tight embrace.

Aqua was shocked by this, and normally, she'd push him away automatically. However, she decided to stay in his arms for a little longer, since she wanted some warmth for quite a while.

He stroked her hair a little and whispered, "Whatever you dreamt couldn't have been real... We won't leave you just like that. Aqua, we're surrounded by such amazing people we deserve. I doubt that our friendship would fade"

"You think you could promise that?"

"Well- It's an impossible promise to keep- but I'll try"

"You goat!" She giggled a bit, and he chuckled along.

"Say, it's really late. You should probably get to your room-" He pulled away but was pulled back into the embrace.

"Can I just stay like this for a while?" The blue hair asked, voice with slight drowsiness.

Capricorn felt his face heat up. "I g-guess.. " He stuttered. A moment of silence came again, and the boy sighed when her heard soft breathing. 'She fell asleep..' He pulled back as Aqua's arm dropped to the side, and examined her sleeping face.

He smiled, "You don't seem so restless anymore..." Picking her up, he walked off to her room, to put her back in bed.

Bwah! I'm rushing through stories right now since I want to keep this book active, but school work is jumping at me. So please don't mind the half-assed stories! Dx
