"Tell us everything that happened," Dylan Marvil squealed while finger-combing her curly, red hair. The Pretty Committee were on their way to school and waited for Massie to talk about the incident on Saturday.
"Yeah, tell us!" Alicia Rivera squealed, the one in the group who thirsts for gossip. Massie Block sighed and put her nail file away in her bag.
"Ok, so I was in the spa, relaxing and then Claire just flew through the doors and began screaming at me," Massie clarified.
"What was she screaming about?" Kristen Gregory asked while notoriously doing her crossword puzzles.
"She was like, trying to get me mad at you guys because she claimed you guys were being jerks. So I said and I quote, I've known these girls for my whole life and you can't just accuse them like that, end quote," Massie smiled.
"Aww! You stuck up for us!" Dylan shouted and bear-hugged Massie. Alicia and Kristen joined in too and they had a group hug.
"Of course I did," Massie said. "You're ruining my hair, so please let go."
They let of Massie. There was a long moment of silence afterwards.
"So, is Claire...out of the Pretty Committee?" Kristen questioned.
"Sure. I guess. I mean yes. She is definitely out of the PC," Massie replied.
"Good. I hate having a tag-along," Dylan yawned. The Range Rover pulled in the parking lot of the school and the girls got out with their bags.
"Thanks Isaac!" The girls yelled to the driver. The Pretty Committee strolled across the pavement and opened the doors to the school.
"Wait!" Massie screeched. The girls looked at each other in utter confusion.
"Outfit checks!" Massie screeched again.
"Oh, right!" The PC got in line, ready to receive their daily scores.
"Dylan's first," Massie announced. Dylan stepped forward and planted her foot into a model's pose. Dylan looked fabulous in skinny black leggings and a Calvin Klein emerald blouse that matched her piercing eyes. She wore black high heels from Jimmy Choo that completed the look. Silver hoop earrings, a present from Massie, also made the agenda.
"Dylan, you get a 9.6. Nice work," Massie finished while the girls applauded. Dylan stepped back in line while Kristen stepped forward.
"Ok, Kristen," Massie chirped. Kristen looked casual-cute in a Juicy turquoise sweatsuit with her hair piled up in a messy bun. She had silver stud earrings that elevated the look from a 7 to a 9. Even though it was casual, it looked 100% designer and adorable.
"Congratulations. 9.2," Massie announced. Kristen stepped back into formation. It was Alicia's turn.
Alicia rocked her usual Ralph Lauren look. She wore a white Veronique silk top that popped against her glowing skin. To match the sophisticated look, Alicia wore ebony pants with buckled wedges on her feet. Her hair was slicked back into a frizz-free ponytail and she had diamond bracelets stacked up on her arms.
"Alicia, you are a 9.5," Massie finished. The girls applauded each other and it was finally Massie's turn.
Massie looked ah-dorable in a Gucci purple halter top. Like Alicia, she wore black jeans and Michael Kors flats.
"10!" The girls shouted.
"I know!" Massie joked and added more Sweet Pumpkin Glossip Girl to her lips. They were ready to go in the school.
They opened the doors and waited for Massie to pick a song to walk to.
"Ok. Hmm. Let's do the chorus of Sorry by Justin Bieber. A five, six, a five, six, seven, eight," Massie announced and they were off.
Is it too late now to say sorry?
Girls in the hallway envy-glared at them as they strutted down the halls.
Cause I'm missing more than just your body.
Out of the corner of Massie's eye, Massie saw Claire stare at her as she was talking with Layne Abeley, the biggest loser in the school. Massie simply rolled her eyes and got back to the song.
Massie then held up her hand to stop them. Claire walked up to them and stared right into Massie's soul.
"I don't care about you, Massie. You're not cool and I'm SO not jealous of you," Claire managed.
"Sorry, but I'm not fluent in stupidity," Massie replied. Kristen cackled and the Pretty Committee high-fived each other. Claire ran down the hall, obviously embarrassed that everyone saw the stupid move she made.
The PC opened their lockers and got their books out.
"Why is she such a wannabe?" Massie asked her friends.
"She was born that way," Alicia joked. They all laughed and went off into their separate ways. Massie went to Geometry. Alicia and Kristen headed to Science. Dylan strolled down to History class. While Massie was snap-chatting Alicia, Dylan, and Kristen, she got a text message from an Unknown Number.
UNKNOWN NUMBER: THIS MEANS WAR💀
Massie looked around thinking who sent this. She had a feeling she already knew who it was.
The major wannabe, Claire.
