Background/Description: Since she was young, she worked in her Uncle's butcher shop with her brother, Mark, so she has a small grasp about knives. When she turned 12, her Uncle pushed her secretly into training for the games. Her Uncle Malik and brother was her only family since her father got reaped at the age of 18 and her mother suicided 2 years after Maya's birth. Maya is short-temepered which led her to hurt her classmates whenever they insult or tease her; which led to the reason she isolates her self from her peers. She doesn't want to kill anybody but when it's just too much, Melissa-her darker form- comes out to play; she loves her older brother very much
