Honey moon part 2.
Once Louis had stepped foot into the ocean, a shiver ran up his spine. Not only from the coldness of it but also because it was so dark, you couldn't see anything under but black and that scared him. The ocean in general scared him. How big it was, how there was life living under the damn waters... How a shark can bite off his leg, how a jelly fish or eel could come bite him or how he could probably end up seeing a dead body floating somewhere in it. He was terrified now from over thinking this.
Too consumed in his thoughts, he didn't notice someone swimming right toward him and to the shallow ends on the waters. Louis was thigh deep in it by now, too scared to come any deeper. He hated being afraid but that was him. He hates lots of things and is terrified of a lot of things as well. Hell, he'd be terrified of his own reflection if just seeing it for the first time in years.
Hands grabbed his waist gently and started him for a moment, jumping just a bit and his heart skipping a little beat. When he decided to glance up, he was relieved to only see it was Harry. His husband... Husband. He'll probably never get used to that one simple word.
Calling the one he loved his forever... Unless of course, they get a divorce. The thought of getting a divorce made Louis wanna stab himself in the chest over and over because honestly, that'd be less painful then the thought he was having right now. Louis just hoped that they never ever got a divorce. It would kill him and not to mention, they have a kid together. Harry would never do that though and he knows this. They love each other way too much.
"You alright, baby?" Harry's voice was deep, smooth and gentle just the way Louis liked it. He seemed so calm while his partner was a nervous wreck. Maybe because he just knows that everything will be alright and they're already set for the future. Harry knows everything will be okay between them- no. He knows everything will be fucking great between them.
They will grow to have more children, watch them get married, have grandchildren, will grow old together and die together. Although, Harry wishes he would die before Louis because the thought of being without his soulmate even for a little bit pained him and the thought of never waking up to see his face, hear his voice pained him even more.
At the thoughts he wanted to tear up. They were getting older way to fast and he hated it. He wanted to stop and pause time forever just to be with his love forever. Quickly, he pushed the thoughts away and shook his head. This honeymoon was supposed to be about having fun, not sitting around and moping about how he's afraid to die and be alone and such.
The smaller guy smiled wide, his fears being washed away just at the touch of Harry. He moved to wrap his arms around his neck, the smile never leaving his face even though his cheeks were starting to get sore from it. He didn't care. "I'm doing alright, how about yourself, handsome?" He responded in a quiet voice, playing with the hair on the back of Harry's neck, admiring how his face was glowing under the moonlight. Yeah, he really was whipped, even after all this time.
Just to think, they started out by Harry accidentally sending a message, wanting to get nudes from a boy named Calum but ended up typing in a wrong username. He was sure as hell glad he did though. If not, he wouldn't be here, married to the one person he loves the most in the world.
"Doing pretty good, lovely." Harry smiled and scooped his hands under the others thighs, lifting him up so he could wrap his legs around his waist. "You're looking really cute, you know that?' He asked softly, his eyes full of fond as well as the smile he wore on his face too.
