The day went by smoothly, Louis was happier then ever having his friends, family, and boyfriend around all for his birthday. The breakfast was cleaned up earlier and now they were all headed to the mall so Louis could pick out what he wanted.

Harry already had gotten him a few things but he was told to open the gifts at the end, everyone else have him his gifts. He had a big surprise coming to him soon.

"Look, Lou. That teddy bear is as big as you." Daisy giggled loudly, pointing at the toy shop which had multiple huge teddy bears in the window, they were really expensive though.

Louis stared at them for a bit and smiled at them. "Yeah, they're adorable." Harry looked at the window before taking his boyfriends hand, tugging him into the store making Louis raise his eyebrows. "What are you doing, Harry?"

"Getting you a bear. Come on, pick one." He smiled fondly as he watched Louis excitedly scan the colors and animals. He picked a tan colored furry teddy bear, tugging at its ear. "That one?" He walked over and lifted the stuffed bear before walking over to the register and paying for it.

"Thank you." Louis grinned widely and reached up, pecking Harry's cheek. "Now let's go eat because I'm starving." He wanted to help hold the bear so they both held it up with each of their hands. Luckily the bear was light.

As they walked out, Jay gave Harry a knowing smile. He smiled back then looked at Louis who had a happy glint in his eyes. "What do you want to eat?"

"McDonalds. I was large fries and nuggets please." He smiled up at Harry who smiled back, a fond look on his face. "And with a side of you." He cheekily added.

"Hm, are you looking through my pickup line book now?"

Once everyone was done eating, they decided to walk around for a bit more, chatting. One would think the mall would be closed on Christmas Eve but surprisingly there were tons of people flying around looking for a last minute present.

Louis stood in front of the indoor water fall and watched as water flow from the top and splash at the bottom to the clear clean water, coins filling a lot of it from people throwing them in and making wishes.

"Louis?" When the boy hummed in response, Harry reached over and fixed his beanie before breathing in and taking out the black velvet box, getting on one knee. He had already told Jay about this and that's why she gave those knowing smiles to him.

He was so nervous that his hands were shaking. Louis being Louis, didn't notice him on one knee so Harry gently grabbed his hand making Louis look over, his eyes widening. "I don't know if this is too late for me or too early but," he cleared his throat and pulled off of Louis' hand to open the box. "Louis William Tomlinson, I would like to spend the rest of my life with you. I didn't have a big speech prepared so.. Will you marry me?"

The younger boy was speechless, and he licked his dry lips for a moment. How was he supposed to say it? "Of course I'll marry you, Harry." His voice cracked and he almost smacked himself in embarrassment because at this point, people stopped to watch.

Harry grinned and took the ring out of the box before grabbing his hand gently, and sliding it on him. People started clapping and the loudest ones that were cheering were his family and friends.
